I use them for the crocheted "mask bands" that I make and donate.
So far, during the Pandemic, I've made and gifted 565 crocheted "surgical mask bands" to family, friends, health professionals, and hard-working people in and around my community, so, Yes, I wish the buttons were cheaper...I buy both black and chestnut colors. The bands keep elastic away from ears and make mask-wearing much easier and more comfortable. I'll probably be purchasing these buttons (the quality is wonderful!), because I think we'll be wearing masks for a long time yet!
