Resmed Tubing Wrap #33963 for 6' Standard CPAP Supply Line

I originally purchased this tube wrap in hopes of minimizing "rain-out". However before I had a chance to use the wrap for that purpose, my insurance covered a new CPAP machine and all the bells and whistles that have improved since my last machine in 2010. One of the improvements was a climate-controlled (heated or cooled) hose which completely eliminates rain-out. So, I can't speak to this wrap's ability to reduce rain-out. But I was grateful for this tube wrap when winter arrived because it prevents the cold tube from brushing against my bare skin when I move around in bed. (The climate control feature on the new hose does not heat the outside of the tube). This tube wrap also eliminates kinking of the tube, and now the tube moves smoothly me when I change positions, which was a bonus. The fabric of the wrap does make a little bit of swishing noise when it rubs against bed linens, but it needs to be a swishy kind of fabric to function correctly. The wrap seems well made, and was ridiculously easy to apply to the tube. Aesthetically, I do wish it was available in other colors, though I admit that is a picky detail.

I have had this for a little over two months now. It works pretty well. I have only had 1 or 2 rain outs since I started using it. Just before purchasing this sleeve, I woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning to find a small hole in my tube. You had to have the hose in just the right position to hear the hole. My wife and I have several cats, I think she is trying to start a shelter behind my back. Since I started using this, no holes, no sudden tugging in the middle of the night from the cats thinking it is a toy, and not waking up thinking I was drowning. The only reasons I didn't give it five stars was because the zipper can be a little noisy if you attach that end to the mask and it doesn't seem to fit quite right. When I put it back on after cleaning out the hose it will come off the boots a little, exposing the hose some. Not a big deal, but it does expose some hose to the cats. So far they haven't seemed to notice. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I purchased this to help with getting "rainout" under control, particularly while camping. I like to have the room I'm sleeping in around 68 degrees and I was constantly having issues with getting my humidifier at a decent setting that was comfortable as well as keep me from just having dry and cold air run through the machine and getting a bloody nose. I've had this item for a couple of months now and I truly think it was a great purchase for my sleep health.Pros:I no longer have to attempt to make sure my hose is under my blanket or tucked into a sleeping bag to try and warm it up.It added a little extra weight which, for me, actually helped to keep the hose in place.The cold plastic doesn't wake me up when I roll over on it anymore. (I know it's a wuss complaint, but it really irritated me)When camping I've been able to get away with a much lower humidifier setting so I don't have to charge batteries nearly as often.Cons:The "tab" where the zipper goes over longer than the hose catches on blankets and it's not quite pliable enough to fold under itself.

This is a nice tubing cover and keeps the grooves in my ClimateLine tubing from catching on things as I roll around at night. I'm very happy with the zipper-size and the way that the cover folds back over the zipper end so that you don't have any metal or uncomfortable material touching your skin at any time.The only thing that I wish was different was the type of material. This material is very slippery and doesn't have enough friction to hold my tubing in place on my bed. This leads to extra tension on my mask depending on how I roll around and where my tubing is. With a cotton wrap I used in the past, the extra friction of the cotton material did a better job keeping things from sliding around.

This was much better than I expected. I have been using a different type of tubing wrap that is a fabric that I had to shove my hose through each time I changed it out to clean it and the Velcro quit working so I knew it was time for a new one. I saw this and noticed that there was a zipper but I assumed it was only at part of one end and it was still the same type of fabric. I was wrong - the zipper runs the whole length and one end wraps around so the zipper doesn't hit you in the face. Also, it is more heavy duty nylon material, kind of like a thick tent material. It is way better than I expected and at a great price. Tubing wrap gets rid of all of the condensation so you don't end up with moisture dripping on your face so if you have never tried one, you should and if you are looking for one, get this one.

I wasn't sure about getting one of these wraps and what it would actually do for me... However, I finally did purchase one after a year of having a CPAP, and I must say, I should have bought one a year ago.This is so much better then the exposed tubing.For one, the noise reduction alone is worth the cost, and sleep.I would wake up from hearing the tubing catch the edge of my night stand, and make that washboard sound. With the wrap on, I no longer wake up do to that noise (ever)As for the humidity levels, I keep mine really low anyway, so I can't really say if that aspect works or not.Also, it is made by ResMed...It appears to be high quality, with a zipper up the entire length, which makes it easy to install.Its a vinyl material - not felt, so pet hair, dust, etc... shouldn't stick to it.Great Product... HIghly Recommended!

I am new to using a cpap, and I saw recommendations to buy this, and I did. I think it is supposed to help so that the cold plastic tubing doesn't come across your skin. I had bought the Cpap hose holder, and that keeps it off the bed, so it is like a double thing I am doing.The only thing I don't like about this wrap, is that it is difficult to get the wrap on the hose, it is a bit longer than my hose. So once per week when I am cleaning the hose, I have to unzip and take it out and then put it back in the wrap which is very cumbersome. If the sizing were more fitted to the size of the 6 foot hose I have, that would make it perfect.

J'avais souvent de l'eau dans mon boyau causé par l'humidité et la condensation. Depuis que j'ai installé ce protecteur/isolant, je n'ai plus ce problème de condensation. Les nuits sont meilleures. Je n'ai plus besoin de vider le boyau en plein milieu de la nuit à cause des bruits du tuyau de mon CPAP. Merveilleux. Merci.
