Best chew tubes
I have been buying these for 10 years for my special needs daughter who loves chew tubes. I have tried cheaper brands, however these are 100% the best ones. Clip on to tshirt and easy for her to grab. They last along time too, I put them in the dishwasher with no issues. Usually go through about 4 a year.

Lasted 8 Years!
Worth every penny. I bought this for my son in 2016 and it's now 2024. It looks and feels newer than others I bought last month that have been chewed through and probably swallowed. :( I only bought others because of the color and texture variety. What a waste of money. I am going on the Abilitations website because they don't sell a variety of this brand on Amazon. Also, my son only wears the clip-ons, not the necklace-style chew tubes, so I'm limited in what to get, unless I go on the website. Chu-buddy is the only chew tube on the market that has close to comparable quality.

Great for my needs
I work at a Dayhab center where we care for high need adults. Our clients have many physical and mental developmental delays that can create interesting challenges. One of our young ladies has a pretty severe PICA disorder. She is on a constant hunt for different objects the hold, tap, mouth and eventually eat. We've found the best way to keep her from ingesting anything that could possibly harm her, is to keep a couple dozen items safe for her to have in plain sight at all times. I'm always on the lookout for the perfect "toy" that will catch her interest and be safe for her to have.To my disappointment she didn't seem interested in this when it was clipped to her clothing, but she can't pass this thing up when she sees it. She swings it around, taps it on tables (bonus is it not loud) and chews it. When this goes missing, and it will go missing, I will repurchase another for her.

Great for sensory needs and grinding
Super expensive but worth the price. It’s strong and holds up very well for chewing and grinding teeth. Highly recommend this item.

best chewy out there
This is my son's favorite chewy. He rarely rips it off. The clip keeps it attached to his clothes pretty well and so the teachers are not having to get him to go pick it up all the time. he likes the feel of the springy part. I like how the chewy has the sealed end on one side. I am worried that I wont be able to clean it well though when dirt/debris falls into the top. So I am not sure if I like it sealed or open like before. but either way it is a great chewy.

Happy with purchase
*UPDATED AT BOTTOM* We received the item this weekend, and I think it's just great! My 2 year old son has oral sensory needs, and recently started chewing on his hands and arms to satiate those needs. He wasn't taking to any teething toys offered, or a texture bracelet we made, so we purchased this in the hopes that it would help him. It arrived quickly. When we gave it to him, he immediately started chewing on it (the stretchy part) and hasn't chewed on himself since. He seems to prefer the stretchy part, rather than the hard plastic.. But that will probably vary from user to user. We are VERY happy with this purchase. My only concern is that the plastic connecting the "chain" to the pendant will not hold up. It doesn't seem to be made any more durable than the rest of the stretchy part and will likely not hold up to the bouncing and stretching it is likely to go through with an active two-year old user. I will try to update this review as time passes regarding that aspect of the product.Fresh out of the box, the entire length is 12.25". This is great, as I can hook it to my son's belt loop and not worry about it dragging on the floor and getting dirty. I imagine that after some use it will end up stretching longer, though. It only comes in blue, which is fine for us as my son loves blue, but it would be nice to see other color options become available.Overall, great purchase. Would definitely recommend to my friends.August 14, 2014 - Still very happy with this purchase. The part that I was concerned about breaking has held up just fine, maybe I was wrong! It hasn't stretched too long like I thought it would, either. Still has a good bounce to it and doesn't drag along the floor if I have it hooked onto his pants (he is tall for his age, though). My son still loves to chew on it. Very glad we bought this.

yes, yes, yes
we have two, very aggressive, boy chewers in our house, each with their own set of oral/tactile issues. We have tried, and failed, with MANY of the oral motor stimulators, but this one is THE BEST so far. We hung this from a lanyard around their necks and the boys almost constantly USE them--it's saved a lot of wear and tear on the toys in the house. Also--THESE LAST!! They both would be hard pressed to destroy these. These are worth the money.

Five Stars
I have always been pleased with this product in the past and have ordered it many many times through for my daughter with autism. However, the price increase to over $17 per item is ridiculous. I will order directly from vendor until the price is reduced.
