Better Life Dish Soap, Unscented, 22 Ounces

I did not think for one second that this would work anything like my beloved Dawn soap that I have used all my life but it works even better! It leaves the plates squeaky clean. It does not leave any residue and leaves a gorgeous shine on all of my plates, especially the flatware. My hands are also feeling much better after using this.There's also one more thing that maybe not a lot of people would care about but I love that it rinses out of my sponge quicker than Dawn. The reason I like this is because I like to mop up the water from around the sink with my sponge after washing the dishes and if my sponge still has soap in it, I'm just spreading bubbles everywhere.I've also bought this dish soap for my mom who has been using Dawn all her life as well and she likes it better, too! I'm trying to switch out any cleansers that have chemicals with natural cleaners and all of the Better Life products that I have tried have worked better than the chemical products I used before. My lungs and hands are a lot happier because I use to cough a lot and get a stuffy nose every time I cleaned the bathroom with chemicals and my hands were always super dry.This has also worked on my mom's hands, too. She always has had peeling hands and when I went to her house the other day she showed me her hands and they were shiny they were so healthy. I will say that I have also switched her hand soap to a natural one so I think those two changes have helped her hands tremendously :)

I am very pleased with this dish soap, does everything I need it to do. Stuck on food in my stainless steel pans comes off easily, at worst with a short soaking. One bottle lasted me 6 months (although I did dilute it toward the end). Very light fresh scent, and rinses easily. I purchased my first bottle from Amazon, then spotted it in a local grocery store and grabbed it as it was the last one on the shelf. Just started the new bottle and for the last two days I have been sniffing around the sink trying to figure out what the strong smell there was coming from. Finally determined it was the dish soap - I was about to email Dish It Out to see if they had changed their formula and discovered there are both scented and unscented versions. The one I have now is the Clary Sage & Citrus. I personally do not like the smell at all; in fact, when I first noticed it I thought my husband had cleaned the sink with something like Ajax. I won't waste it but will look closely at the label when I purchase my next bottle.

I have used Better Life's unscented dish soap for years. I no longer can find it in local stores and have previously purchased the product from a different vendor on Amazon as well as directly from Better Life.That said, I'm sorely disappointed with the product I received. It's evident the ingredients have changed and not for the better. I'm allergic to fragrance, hence, the unscented dish soap had been my go-to for years. No longer. First, there is a notable chemical smell for a product that is supposed to be plant derived. Second, the ingredients in the bottle have separated. Third, the consistency is terrible. The original soap was similar in consistency to Dawn, Seventh Generation, and even Better Life's hand soap. Now the "dish soap" (I use the term loosely) has the consistency of cloudy, smelly water.To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Even accounting for inflation, the product was overpriced. At the time, I needed more dish soap and it was out of stock on Better Life's website and I was unable to find the unscented version anywhere else. If I could give this product 0 stars, I would. The formula has changed and I will not use the remainder of this bottle. I am looking for a better alternative.

I was always a tried and true dawn dish soap gal, but I recently switched to non toxic products and this one came highly recommended from a friend for dish soap. She said it foams up better than other non toxic options she’s tried. I like the amount of foam it produces and I’d say it cleans well!

The media could not be loaded. We love this unscented soap! It’s helpful to wash our dishes and our baby’s dishes. Safe for both! The only thing is I wish it came in bigger sizes!

Better Life has always been my favorite. I just know it's safe and I like not having a scent. No, it's not quite as strong as typical chemical products when removing heavy greasy stuff, but it does just fine. It's well worth it to me to avoid the unknown chemicals.

This has become my new favorite dish soap. I had previously been using Honest, even though it has SLS, and just couldn't tolerate the idea that I was using something toxic anymore, even if better than your standard dish soap. Then Better Life Dish Soap came into the picture with its hefty price tag and I can say it's worth every penny. It cleans extremely well, better than any dish soap, conventional or no, and I'm not be stingy with it at all but it seems to last longer than other dish soaps. It's been months and I'm still only halfway through one bottle. I make every meal from scratch every day and then wash all of the dishes by hand so it's getting some heavy usage. Definitely recommend.

Great product but poor shipping prep. There was no foil seal, the top was loose and leaked inside the Amazon box onto another item.
