My elderly mother has 2 bad sores on her foot. One has became an open wound and the other is just very sore. Her doctor told her about this and wanted her to try it. She had me order it for her sleeps with it every night now. She said it did take a little to get use to due to it's size. But where she was sliding her foot at night to cause the sores in the first place, this has helped her out a lot. It is a little pricey, but as long as she is happy and it is working, that doesn't matter. her health is the most important thing.

I'm sure this heel protector is great for some, but not for me. My wound care doctor recommended it. It is soft. Too bulky for me. Needs another velcro strap to keep it in place. I feel, this product is overpriced. I shopped around and this is the place I found to be the cheapest. Again, this product will benefit others. Just not for me.

I consider these the gold standard in offloading boots. They are way more expensive than foam boots, but they last forever and can be washed. The foam boots fall apart in a week or two depending on how much the person moves while wearing them. If you are taking care of a wound that you believe will heal quickly and never return, get the foam. Any other scenario will be served better by these.

The strap broke on the second day of use.Very thin material

Purchase this item previously, and was satisfied with it. Needed to buy a second one and within a month one of the two Velcro straps literally pulled off where it was attached.Definitely does what it needs to do, but I personally would be leery to buy another one given the quality issue that I personally observed
