These filter appear to be a good value - "2.5 heavier... 4 layers... yada yada", - and do fit well in F15 X5. But! They perform poorly preventing odors getting into the cabin. Not sure if they use low quality carbon (is there such thing?) or just fakes (?) , but you'll smelling any odor that a car in front of you emits - exhaust, vape, joint, etc. etc.I went thru two sets just to be sure, but will be switching back to OEMs and they do worth extra $$.

I finally went to put this filter in the bmw a cabin filter and it was the wrong size it would fit a 5 seriesnot a 3 series I really dislike buying stuff just to find out it the wrong thing now what to do with the wrong part cant return over due date. Its not like i want money back. It makes me feel stupid, inadequate or just dont get it. Id exchange but shipping packaging and just the trouble. Ordered from the mech and the part will be right K & N more $$$ but less frustration. I just needed to vent thanks GSo not a total loss i used the filter with my house heater, it sucks from the top so i hid them there.

These filters fit and function just like if not better than oem part which is 4 times the cost. Installed on 2008 E70 X5 3.0si

No installation instructions as filters apparently fit several models. Go to youtube for installation video. Quality of item looks good.

They fit perfect but I had to dig up a video online to install them. BMW overcomplicates everything about their vehicles.
