I rely on herbal remedies to improve my health like they have for decades of people. Little did I know this seemingly unknown herb was so important. After reading about the amazing results horsetail can offer I decided to try. The capsules were reasonably priced, easy swallowing and so easy to add to my daily regimen. After a few weeks I am happy to say horsetail has lived up to its reputation. Try it. I think you will agree.

Have been taking this several months and I do not see any results from it. Bought this for hair and skin improvement. I will finish this bottle but try a different brand next time. Only gave 3 stars because price is reasonable.

Great product

Between pregnancies and aging, my hair has been considerably thinning and I have little bald patches near my forehead where my hair never really grew back after the post-pregnancy dramatic hair loss (and my youngest is 4!). I tried biotin with no effect (maybe I was not taking enough (1g) but upping the dosage made my skin break out every time.) So I finally tried horsetail again (had had good results with it associated with other plants in the past) and to my surprise little hair started growing on my bare spots. I can't say the results are dramatic all over, but I have only be taking it once a day (recommended dosage on the container is 2X a day) for 2-3 months and forget to take it quite often. >.< I plan on trying to take it twice a day now to see if I get even better results, plus it is a good source of minerals (silica) to your body so it helps with bones and nails too. Solaray is a great brand, very safe in my opinion and I use other supplements from them as well. This is standardized extract which means you have a guaranteed potency of the product. Worth a try for overall hair/nail health. Also look into nutritional yeast for this issue. :-)

Haven't taken it long enough to know if its working.

Bought this product with hopes it would stop/ slow my wifes hair loss. She has been taking Horsetail Extract for about a year and there seems to be little, if any, change in the progress of pattern baldness. Cannot say I would recommend this product.
