Ridgemonkey Classic Deep Fill Sandwich Toaster inc Utensils - Standard or XL (XL)

I bought this to use in my camper van and it really is ideal for that purpose. I find that it help to prevent oil from spiitting all over the place and being closed it also helps food to cook quickly.The quality of the item is good, it does exactly what it is meant to do. I have had it for quite some time and it has held up very well. It does get scratched on the outside but too badly and it's a pan for cooking, so the outside really doesn't bother me.I've also used it on camping stoves where it really helps things to cook as I find that they're usually a little under powered heat wise.A handy little pan which you can use for frying, sandwich toasting, heating beans and even reheating things like pizza. Great!

Bought this after reading about others experiences. Not disappointed at all. Also you can put a pan on top of it like you do when using the 2 or 3 tiered pans so you get more room on that camping hob. We've used it in the house too as it prevent the fluids spitting all over the hob making it easier to keep it clean. Would recommend this product to anyone.

Mmmm.... cheese toasties with onion and jam... On a small boat this would normally be a tough call but now with CHEESEYLICIOUS, empty tummies are a thing of the past. Just a wonderful product that can be used direct on a gas hob flame...... TIP - the XL version is for oversize bread - for standard UK Med / Thick Sliced, go for the Std size which I'm going to buy soon as well as hunt for a recipe book. . Very well made. Love it xxxx

I bought this as I spend multiple days carp fishing and was tired of eating rubbish. This is a great product which has become very popular for good reason.

I'm disabled and virtually housebound. I watch a lot of YouTube videos, they help pass they endless hours of being stuck indoors. Started following a car camper (u-know, u-know)....just to see him walk the hills in my area and cook food in his car. He has both a portable stove and a Ridgemonkey!I lost interest in cooking years ago...moreso since the council capped of my gas and I had to get an electric cooker whuch I hate with a passion!It hurts to stand and cook and electric is so slow! Then as I watched this guy cooking I had a brainwave. I could cook like that on my coffee table! I could cook AND enjoy it! I didn't have to eat cold food and sandwiches every meal.As I say....it's been a game changer. The little stove, the RIDGEMONKEY - an awesome combination. I've cooked breakfasts in it. Two days ago made some amazing potatoes (not quite a roast, not quite sauté but crispy).....chopped up small, microwaved for a few mins, add a little beef dripping to Ridgemonkey, chuck in the par boiled potatoes and let them do their thing. Done in about 10 minutes start to finish. Gorgeous.There's loads of YouTube vids - Ridgemonkey cooking. Even pies and pizza!It's easy to use, easy to clean and I love it. It's not just a bit of camping equipment. It's given me back something thought was gone forever. A spark of enthusiasm to cook.You won't regret getting one. 💖

Excellent to use as a frying pan with the lid down so no mess and if careful, it can be turned to cook sausages, bacon etc both sides. Also doubles up as a really easy to use sandwich toaster and with a quick wipe round, it is clean and retains its non stick qualities. A must for camping.

Great product and super happy I bought one. I use mine in my micro-campervan and it allows me to cook much more on my one burner stove. Now I can make toasties, cook pizzas's and garlic breads. Fry foods without hot oil spitting out on furnishings. Really easy to clean - I wipe mine out with kitchen roll. Comes with a set of utensils as it's non-stick and you don't want to be using metal instruments on it.One happy camper here.

The Ridgemonkey version is sturdier than other, cheaper versions… remember to keep heat medium to low to avoid overheating the handle/rivets. We love ours, glad we bought the XL version, very versatile when you want it to be, simple when you want it to be, easy clean, fabulous. A basic cheese and tomato toastie on thick slice bread needs approx 2 minutes each side, just make your sandwich as normal with butter on inside, don’t need butter on outside, pre warm your toaster for a minute, pop in your sammich.. check and turn, check and turn until toasted to perfection… if you have loaded lots of cheeses etc in your bread, lower heat for longer to cook the inside… enjoy!
