I use this for a dry hopper on my conical fermenter. This is in place of a sight glass. Works fine and holds well over 8 oz of hops

Was having a a hard time getting it sealed eventually decided to Flat lap the tri clamp connection. With silicon carbide sandpaper on a surface Stone(glass or granit can also be used as a lapping plate) I noticed only 3 small contact points. Same pattern on each side. no problems sealing anymore even with PTFE gaskets.

Does NOT solder. Only weld. tried various types of flux and did not solder, vs. others solders great without any effort.SorryI wish i'd be able to return it just too late.
