Vibram Women Five Fingers Classic Minimalist Walking Shoe

When I can, I prefer to go barefoot or wear sandals, but there are times when you need the feel of being barefoot while also having the protection of a sole. These FiveFingers meet that need. The sole is rigid enough to offer the protection I need and yet supple to allow each toe to work independently. The uppers are pretty minimalist and the Shock cord draw string has minimal effect. That is not a problem because the shoes run true to size, at least for my narrow, long-toed feet. The stretchable upper conforms very well and I have no concerns about these either falling off or cutting the circulation off. They are interesting to put on the first time (these are my first pair of "toe shoes"'), but I got used to getting the toes to go where they should very quickly. They even work well with thin toe socks, if you want to have more coverage for the top of the foot or ankle. I will buy these again.

Still to much snow to wear out side but look forward to that day. Fit As I had hoped, I wear a 11.5 to 12 and the 46 seams to be a good fit with no socks in this style. I have 3 others styles and the trex in a 46'would not work with socks, but fit great with out, now above 20 and couldn't wait to be out side, still get a little cool but summers coming. Now back to the classic's I'M not sure about the draw string yet seems a little long but I have a narrow foot/heel so I will give it a go. Again it takes a while to get used to this style shoe, but I have never looked so forward to putting something on my feet. I own boot costing well over 300.00 and these are now my go to shoe for summer. I walked over 17 miles in Hawaii last summer in one day and never looked down no blisters no pain, do be patient as the company states there is some leg stregenthen required but I average 5000-10000 steps a day at work. These shoes got me hooked. I tried 2 other pairs of VFF’s before and had given up on the idea because the toe fit wasn’t right, but then bought these on a whim and love them. It’s a sensory experience you don’t realize you’ve been missing your whole life, until you start wearing these. I want to put them on to go anywhere, especially boring places, because at least I’ll have fun walking around in my toe shoes. After a good hike in these, there is a strange but satisfying tingle somewhere in your brain where there’s apparently a connection with your toes, and this has been neglected your whole life, and now it goes on for hours. So next chance you get, you wear these shoes again, even if your wife says they’re absurd. Give it a try.

I like the fact that they are lite and very comfortable. What I didn’t like with the first pair I ordered from amazon, the size said one size and they were maybe two sizes too small. I use my shoes for exercising and just lounging around the house.

Yoish! I do a lot of bare sole running in the Olympic mountains and though for years i have used moccasins. I have finally got around to exploring the five fingers. I find this style amazing. One of the problems that i have in footing my bare soles through the old growth rain forest is that things get a bit slippery, even with mocks. These give me enough grip that allow me to move through the forest and on the glacial river beds as if i had tree sap on my soles. I have a very wide and flat foot and these fit perfectly. I feel they are very good for shifting and shaping the toes out of toe squeeze which happens with other kinds of shoes.mick dodge

I wanted to use these for playing pool games with the family whilst on holiday as most hotel pools have very abrasive non-slip floors which make my toes sore after a while. These are PERFECT! Not only do they protect my feet but casual swimming and moving about in the pool feels so much easier and natural than with other ‘wet’ shoes. They look a bit funky but I would highly recommend as they are completely fit for purpose.

They're great but the bad part is strap in the back doesn't have a place to go so it flops everywhere when you walk after you tighten it. I took these for a hike and I kept on stepping on the strap but then slingshot to my other leg as if a rubber band was snapped on it and it kept on hurting. But then the first 20 minutes both straps have broken off because I kept on stepping on them as I was just normally walk. Bad design but a comfortable shoe

Ich trage VFF seit ich sie im Juli 2017 in Arusha/Tansania an einem Mann gesehen habe. Ich war völlig begeistert und habe sie direkt über Amazon bestellt.Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich 7 Paare angesammelt. Die Qualität ist fantastisch! Selbst fast 6 Jahre alte VFF sind von der Sohle und dem Stoff nach einer Maschinenwäsche optisch wie neu.Das Laufgefühl auf sämtlichen Untergründen perfekt. Die meiste Zeit meines Lebens verbringe ich mit Hunden und Pferden und ich trage hauptsächlich VFF bzw Barfußschuhe. Durch diese Form des laufens habe ich keine Rücken, Hüfte oder Knie Probleme mehr. Mein Gang ist aufrecht, weil ich mich von meiner Wirbelkette tragen lasse und obwohl ich viel kleinere Schritte mache hat der Abfusseffekt einen viel stärkeren Vortrieb.Vibram Fivefingers sind für mich das Beste ever!
