I needed to put some heat shrink on some small tools, and didn't know what size to use. I ended up using quite a few of the colors and sizes for my project, and could not have been more pleased with the quality and diverse selection in the package. The heat shrink worked very well using my heat gun, and they could be cut to size. I used both colors for the different type of tools I had, and was done in a very short period of time.

I have used several of these shrink tubes and they work well. Good value for the price.

This is OK. It shrinks like it should when light to moderate hot air is applied. I would NOT recommend using a lighter or open flame to shrink this tubing. Use low to moderate heat applied from 3-6” away. The cons: lettering is applied to the tubing and noticeable when using RED. The wall thickness is less than some other brands available. Regardless of the cons, this product does what the tin advertises. It shrinks when you apply low to moderate heat, comes in various diameters, the included divided box it comes in is nice and the price is fair. This seems ideal for light to moderate duty hobby work and the occasional automotive project. It is not water tight but should offer some short-term protection against the elements (situationally dependent, of course). It a bad purchase and the price was reasonable. If you are realistic with your expectations and understand it’s limitations, this could be just fine for you.

This kit is great as it has most of the sizes you will probably need. The tubes shrink as expected and overall seem to be of the same quality of other shrink tubing I have used in the past. The case is great with easy organization of the different sizes. And with the large quantity, you most likely will be set for quite sometime, unless you are a regular user of this tubing.

Outstanding

I’m rewiring my entire 95 Miata for a standalone ECU and I chose this kit to take me along the way. I use the small ones over crimps and the large ones for the braided loom. I’ve just finished and it looks great. These shrink down quite a bit and after they cool they are nice and hard, so as to hold the connection tightly. Only thing I recommend if you’re using the braided loom is to throw a piece of electric tape on the end of the loom (underneath where the shrink wrap goes) so that the loom doesn’t pull out from under the shrink wrap later on.

I ordered this kit for two main reasons. First it offers a diversity of different sizes. Sections are rather short but I usually need short sections. If I need something longer I always keep some 3 ft sections of popular sizes. Secondly, this kit is in a nice segregated plastic case, with two different colors ( black and red) included. This is a Good kit. I highly recommend.

If you're making cables and want a good clean finish, this set gives you plenty of tubing for most every cable size. Used this extensively with great results in my car audio install.
