My Mom needed a couple of her pins repaired because they were badly bent, one had broken off and she had lost the back for another one so I thought I would just order this package since I found it on sale for prime day. I can't say they are bad but they are definitely not in the top 5 I've ever used. The tips of most of the pins are a little bent, very slightly, and the backs will not sit straight on them because of this. The backs aren't able to secure in place very well and they wiggle more than I'm used to, tilting, and there is a very large gap that leaves way too much room so the finished pins sort of hang on the front of the fabric they are attached to. My Mom has lapel pins she has to wear on her work uniform and name badge and every one has always set just right but the repaired pins, using these, stick out farther than all the rest and because there's nothing to keep the pins upright, they not only hang but they spin and will either be sideways or upside down. Again, they aren't terrible but there are different definitely better pins out there. I will save the rest to use for longer items that need 2 pins so that will ensure they can't rotate upside down when being worn. Eh, you win some, you lose some.
