This serum is more like a gel. I was expecting it to be oily but it absolutely is not. It feels a little tacky when you first apply it but it absorbs within a few mins so you can put your makeup or sunscreen on. I used it for two days so far and I have to say I noticed a definite boost in overall moisture on my face. A slight tingle or even a little burn after application. But nothing to worry about, I always feel like a sensation means it's working. The smell is barely there, more medicinal than anything and once it's absorbed it isn't even noticeable. My skin is very dry from living at the beach so this giving me a marked improvement is very positive. The moisture lasted all day, even after swimming and sunscreen. I have very sensitive skin and I had no reaction to this serum whatsoever.I was offered this serum at a discounted price to give my honest, unbiased review and I have to say that so far I am extremely pleased. I would definitely buy this at full price and when this is gone I will buy it again.

I use vitamin C serum daily. It keeps my skin moist. Even though I use my other moisturizer, I feel this keeps the skin moist better.

First I would like to say that I am a absolute skincare lover! I have worked in high end cosmetic stores, so I have tried the best of the best. I was anxious to try this out when I received it in the mail. I absolutely love the consistency of this, it feels and looks like a gel when it first comes out, when I put it on my face it absorbed very quickly into my skin which I was excited about. I put this under my moisturizer day and night for the last 3 days and I just LOVE it! My makeup has been going on better and I feel as though the redness I usually have in my face is starting to even out. I like that there is not much fragrance to this product and I like the sleek and simple bottle is comes in. Elizabeth Charles Vitamin C Complex is a wonderful product. This is great for using in the morning before makeup and after. It soaks into your skin quickly with no oily residue.
