Pacific Arc Isometric Ellipse Guide Template, 27 Total Ellipse from 1/8 Inch to 2 Inch with Inch Graduations

This ruler is thick and green. It is functional but does not fit my aesthetic. I find that the green color (although light) impedes my view of the paper grid of my notebook. The color is also green (which I did not think was going to bother me but it does) so it does not fit my netural-leaning preference. Again - it's all preference. If those do not bother you, it's a good option because it has a lot of stencil shapes and it is small enough to be portable. I still grade it as 5 stars because it is as advertised and is a nice little ruler if that's all that you need.

Artists know that when a circle is tilted, we now see an ellipse, a special sort of oval. So, for example, you might be viewing at a tilt a teacup, a mug, a bowl a dish, a log, a daisy, a glass (top and bottom, a wine bottle (top and bottom, or a vase (top and bottom). All of those would form an ellipse. This tool creates the ellipse you need.

I like having a variety of ovals. They are good for earring sizes and small pendant sizes. It is plastic, so it needs to be treatedwith care.

This is a fun template. You can draw 3 dimensional cylinders pretty fast with it. You can draw perfect ovals even faster. It's like MAGIC!

I bought this template as an aid in egg decorating but have found that it can be used across a myriad of crafts from egg art to scrapbooking to quilling, and everything in between. So versatile

Thick and sturdy. Not flexible.

Was expecting a thicker less bendable material. This ruler's plastic material is like something you might find in the fruit section - those little plastic cartons holding strawberries or blueberries, but just softer than those cartons. At least it has inches and should let my kid make straight lines.

La calidad no es buena. Letras como las B y las S, de 1/8 y 3/16, vienen chuecas y difíciles de usar. No trae símbolos, solo el & y una estrella. Por un décimo del precio de esta plantilla, compré una Mead en una papelería y trae casi todos los símbolos, como paréntesis, signos de interrogación, etc.TL;DR: Si sólo va a usar las letras de 1/4,no habrá problemas. Excepto por la W que tiene rebabas en las puntas.

Very flimsy - no substance to it at all. Would have preferred harder plastic for the price.

Looked at lots of different templates before deciding on the template from this company. Purchased two of these templates for students enrolled in university engineering program. Compact size and flexibility allow for easy carry and use. Transparent protractor makes it easy to see the origin and read angles. Circle template is nice for creating quick graphs during exams. Single stencil replaces need for separate protractor, ruler and compass. Would buy again.
