Works for 4/5 dogs - would recommend!
I have 6 dogs, 5 that we bathe ourselves - and most of them enjoy this distraction. Only 1 cannot get over the indignity of being bathed and allow himself to enjoy the offered treat. The suction cups work really well; easy to put on and easy to take off. As far as cleaning, it is a little difficult - but that's actually a good thing! If I can't clean it easily it means my dogs can't either - so their attention is held longer. I just opened up a spare toothbrush and rededicated it to that purpose - problem solved! Overall I'd recommend this product if you have dogs that are simple, easy to distract, or are food motivated. If you own a dog that is cunning or is "above" the simple pleasures of spreadable treats - this may not work and you may find yourself apologizing for insinuating that they could be so easily bribed.

This is the BEST thing I have ever bought for my puppy!!!!
I hardly ever write reviews, but I am taking the time to write this to thank the maker of this amazing product and to share how great it worked for me and my puppy! When I first tried bathing him without this thing, it was a NIGHTMARE. He was in and out of the tub, hated the water, and it was just awful. By the time it was over, I was wetter and soapier than he was! But I soon discovered my puppy loves peanut butter! So I bought this slow treater, and amazingly I was able to bathe him with no problems at all in about 15 minutes! He stood docilely in the tub the whole time!!! I don't think he was even aware I was bathing him!!!! He was so good that I decided to also try filing his nails with a new Dremel tool I had bought. I had been trying to train him to the Dremel for the whole previous week. He is normally not scared of noises-the vacuum cleaner and even fireworks are no problem for him--but for some reason this one he couldn't get used to and kept shying away from me whenever I turned it on. I had pretty much given up hope that he would ever let me use it on him. But after our bath time success, I brought the Aquapaw down and stuck it to my sliding glass door after his bath, and 10 minutes later I had all four paws done! Again, he barely even noticed I was doing it! He looked back once when I was doing one of his back toenails as if to say "oh, what's that thing?" and then went happily back to his peanut butter! This thing is so great I have told everyone about it, and I even bought a couple more of them for two of my friends with puppies. If your puppy doesn't like bathing and getting his nails trimmed, GET ONE OF THESE!!! They are miraculous!!!! Thank you so much, Aquapaw!!!

Extremely useful
This comes in handy when you're trying to clip your dogs nails, bathe the dog or anything else where you need their attention away from what you are doing. It works great and is super easy to use. We fill ours with almond butter and let her lick away. It has suction cups to help hold it in place and is easy to clean. This gets used all the time and is very helpful. The only problem is it does seem to crack from constant bending even if the dog doesn't chew on it. Is hasn't broken yet and the cracks haven't affected its performance but I would imagine over time if they get larger they will render it useless. It has been used a lot though and is still going so I won't take off more than a star for that unless it proves to be a problem.

Works great!
Works great! Smeared with peanut butter, it keeps our dog occupied when getting a bath. She loves it! She is no longer anxious in the bathtub.

Didn't work for me.
I wanted to like this, but i couldn't get it to stick in either showers. I am guessing because it doesn't work well with tile walls which is two of my bathrooms. It is a bit of a pain to clean unless you are using a bottle brush which makes it easier than with a washcloth or sponge. It definitely looks nice and my dog enjoyed eating from it.

Awesome. Huge improvement in bath time
My French bulldog/pug mix loves this thing. Its has allowed her to finally appreciate that baths and any other skin care I may be doing is to her advantage and not some sick stupid human trick she must endure. That on its own is worth far more than the cost. The suction is more than sufficient. Mine did come with one of the 3 pads bent weird and it doesn't hold well but the other two keep it inline. If you prefer your dog not eat this product have the foresight to anticipate that if you have a destroyer of soft, recently treat slathered items to not leave them with the item after you smeared the dogs favorite treat deeply into it. I'm sorry but that is not the fault of the product at all. That's user error. What else is flexible enough to stick, and have the safety of and ability to sterilize other than silicone? Nothing. It's made a massive improvement for me and my crazy little frugal. No question it's worth a try. It's hard to go wrong with the product or idea behind it. Try to avoid mucking up your views from your own user error. It's isn't like you don't know your dog. Anyway recommended for certain.

Keeps dog occupied
This works great when giving my dog a bath! I attached it to the shower wall, and it kept her busy the whole time! She didn't give a second thought about getting a bath, which she usually does not like. Afterwards, I let her continue licking it, and she licked it for at least another 30 minutes! Also brought it to the vet with me, as she gets very anxious, and this helped her to be more calm and at ease. I put peanut butter on it, and then put it in a gallon sized zip lock bag, and it traveled to the vet just fine, without a mess. The reason I gave the sturdiness only 4 stars is because my dog chewed up one of the suction cups. It still works though, but something to be aware of. Overall, this works great and I would buy it again!

Great for Dog Grooming
I use this lick mat when I need to groom my Golden Retriever. I use the suction cups on the bottom of the mat, to attach it to a plastic tray (Keeps the mess contained). Then I use organic peanut butter and spread it on the nubby side of the mat. This allows me to easily comb and brush her coat while she is happily licking the peanut butter.

I never understood how a stubborn Golden Retriever can triple its body weight when presented with bath time, we bought one of these to encourage him to go willingly into our walk in shower in a desperate attempt to avoid the sumo style wrestling that occurred every time we even hinted that our beloved dog enter the bathroom. Well I can say this worked beyond my wildest dreams, a little bit of smooth peanut butter chilled down to make it more of a challenge and we were away, we started by putting the device on the outside of the shower, just to get him used to going in the bathroom, which although he started off very suspicious of our motives he was overwhelmed by the power of the peanut butter. Immediately we moved it into the cubicle. He again went into extreme suspicion mode, but just left to his own devices started to poke his head into the shower, and eventually went in of his own accord.... At which point we pounced! Even with the shower wand giving him a good soaking he was so blissed out on the peanut butter the entire process went by without a hitch. We've used this for a couple of bathtimes and each time same result. Amazing product! One note, the suckers will only stick to smooth surfaces so if you've got rough tiles you'll need to use the glass portions of the shower. If you use crunchy peanut butter the nuts clog up between the bumps and our dog loses interest. We found for best results smooth peanut butter liberally applied then frozen or chilled would give the best results. Highly recommended. Update: Just Wow, he now wags his tail and rushes to the bathroom and even into the shower as soon as he sees the blue lick pad coming out !! Absolutely astonished at the success of this product and can be used for grooming and nail grinding too!!

My dog's vet uses this for distractions when doing exams/shots. It gets a 10 star from me. It's great for all sorts of scenarios as either a treat or a distraction. The suction and durability are good, and it's easy to clean. I pulled it out of the package and the dog went nuts, knowing exactly what it was. So it's approved by my pup, too. I will say that the center part is on the smaller side. I have a golden retriever puppy and don't want to overload it with peanut butter or cheese whiz, so it's perfectly sized right now for what I need it for. However, if someone else needs it for an adult dog of a larger or giant breed, it may be too small.

Received from Amazon today. Dog decided that today was a perfect day to roll in fox poop… freezing cold outside so decided to try washing him in our downstairs shower. He is usually very nervous however with this stuck on the shower wall and some salmon pate he was so obsessed that i washed him with absolutely no problem!

Davvero molto utile.
