I bought this costume originally for my very tall 3.5 year old. I soon realized after ordering that it was NOT going to fit. Luckily, I have a 2yrs 3 month old girl also. The costume BARELY fit her. She is also VERY tall and BIG for her age. It says it's a size 2T-4T I think? But she is a 2T (pants) 3T top....and it was tight. If you have a normal sized 2 year old, I would suggest ordering the "child" size rather than the "toddler" size. My tall two year old would NOT wear it because it was a little tight. It looked darling on her though. Absolutely love the costume. My 3.5 year old got the "child" size costume and it fit her perfectly. It's good quality and adorable. Well worth the money!:)

Beautiful costume, very well made. Chose the size small 4-6 for an average height, 35 pound 3 year old, and it fit wonderful. The boots are just material sleeves that is made to wear with shoes ( with an elastic strap that goes under your shoe ) and they are very long. I purchased blue stockings so she could wear the costume as pajamas to go with the 2 superman pj's with removable capes that I had found for her brothers. As others have mentioned, the belt is just a very long material strip with velcro that can easily be made smaller. She absolutely loved her costume/pajamas and immediately put it on and went flying around the room.

This costume was adorable! The costume was of surprisingly good quality for a Halloween costume and my daughter loved it. The shiny fabric looks better in person than in the photos.The only thing to be aware of is the sizing. My daughter wears typical 5 year old clothes and this size fit her PERFECTLY. So I wouldn't recommend it for a 3 year old unless they were a little big. It would probably fit a 4 year old but would be too small for most 6 year old children.

I don’t know why I always expect lower quality from our Amazon purchases and was wrong yet again! This is such a great quality costume, totally worth the $$! Was purchased for my daughter as a 5th bday gift and she loves it!

This truly is a very cute suit and I recommend. As for the trickiness with size, my daughter is overall a size 8 to 10 (U.S.)...a large at Children's Place, an 8 at Justice..... is 4'4", 68lbs. We first ordered the medium knowing it was a toss up between the medium and the large, and the medium was a little too small, both the skirt length and arm length. The large is slightly big but with Halloween still 2 mos away it will be perfect. Once we determined we needed the large, the first large we ordered arrived with the "S" noticeably, disappointingly crooked. The 2nd large came in with the "S" straight but slightly off-centered. We can live with that because with the suit being slightly big, it's not fitting skin-tight anyway so the off-centeredness is not really noticeable when the suit is on. The blue of the suit is velvety and very nice and as other reviewers have stated, the "S" is a very nice patch...not cheap at all. However one thing that is weird is the belt is apparently meant to tie in the back as there's no Velcro or anything...and remember I'm on my 3rd suit now so apparently this is how it's meant to be. That's very odd because you can't really get it tight, so I'm going to attach Velcro or something before Halloween. I wanted to leave a review since we've experienced some oddities with this costume, but truly it is so very cute and we are happy with it especially for the price point. Daddy loves it! :)

I did panic with the notifications I received regarding shipping. I realized it wasn't shipping far from me so I called to see if I could pick it up. They assured me it generally ships faster than noted, and they were right, it arrived lightning fast! It is a solid costume and I believe it can be used for dress up for a long time, which is good, because I read the reviews about it running small so I ordered a size up. Either my child is freakishly small or those reviews aren't accurate. The small was wayyy toooo big for my 3.5 yr old. Nothing a little peel n stick magic hem tape couldn't handle though. I would recommend this product, stick to sizing on package. Great doing business with the seller as well.
