I use this to vent my Glowforge laser cutter out the window. I got a complaint about the sound (unfortunately I live in an apartment complex with the window backed up to an alley), so in trying to be a good neighbor, I bought a bunch of supplies to hopefully dampen it. It quieted it a bit within the room but outside? It literally silenced it. You can't even tell that it's on. I imagine it would work perfect for the intended use in ductwork or whatever. This is great!!

Work like a charm. Heard a noticeable difference when i switched out my old tubing.

I’m writing this covered in fiberglass which I thought this thing was supposed to be be taped for interior applications. Install couldn’t be completed because it’s only 3.5 feet about 6 inches too short for the project I needed. Not to mention the holes in it…probably why I’m itching. It’s already back in the box and awaiting return.
