I’m mechanic
So I really needed a tool and the OEM will be delivered just about weeks.. I watched the reviews and I hesitated but at the end I ordered one. Come on guys, if you don’t know how to use a tool stay away from the garage, go to the kitchen and help your wife. This is a perfect tool and if you clean the holes and the whole unit from dirt and oil will be fit perfectly. Not so cheap but works well.

Buy Cheap buy twice
I bought several cheap tools to get off my end caps. One bent in my hands , one the pins sheared off and one marred the endcap holes forcing me to air hammer the cap off. One thing I must say is make sure the pins are flush with the endcap holes, second is make sure you have a long breaker bar or pipe, third is buy the one with 4 pins NOT 3. I waited a year after I purchased this to make sure it would hold up and it did. I frequently change my piston and end caps since my trim system sits below the water line. This tool has saved me on the cost of a mechanic. Also, if you are wandering why I painted my trim/tilt … it is copper free paint used in saltwater.

Finaly I was able to unscrew those caps on my power trim assy mechanic gave up last year. :/ They came off surprisingly easy but with substantial force and 2ft braker bar. That would illustrate how strong the tool/pins are. I got 4,5mm & 4mm pins in the package, 6 pieces of each. Don't know if it was a gift or what since I didn't see that stated anywhere. Also, fact is I bought NEW type wrench (circular with 4 pins shown here) because state of trim unit was really bad so one extra pin could maka a difference, or so I thought. Original C shaped 3 pin wrench came in and I wasn't happy but it did the job without a hitch. Cost me more than double the price in USA (shipping and customs) but it was worth. It is a tool for professional use so you decide if it's worth the price for DIY.

Arrived on time. Used to replace seals on Honda 90 power trim. Only works on the 2 identical seals. A different tool is required for the primary lift rod.
