I have tried a number of pill lubricating and swallowing helpingl systems, and the Medcoat product is by far the best. Each pod can usually process three pills well, and the lubricant stays active in the mouth. The only somewhat negative thing is that the product is a bit pricey, much more than other systems, but it never fails to work, and that makes it worthwhile,

Works exactly as advertised, would give it five stars despite the high price if my wife hadn’t realized you can get exactly the same effect by tearing off the corner of a fruit rollup and stretching it around the difficult to swallow pill.

I used this to coat a very bitter pill that I have to take every night. My medication compliance has been poor up until now. However, last night, I was able to take my pills with ease. One blister was able to be used for one and one-half tablets. No more gagging or dissolving or bitter taste. I only wish I’d found this sooner! I recommended this to anyone who has trouble with non-coated pills.

I put a simple pill and it was a total mess. It was not entirely covered in the glue type of material it has.
