TUHOME Bar Cart Engineered Wood Bar Carts in Black

This item was delivered really quickly. I was surprised at how soon I received it, just 3 days after ordering. I’ve always wanted a bar but I don’t have the extra space for it. So, I opted for the next best thing. A bar cart!! I was so excited when it arrived and couldn’t wait to put it together. It came nicely packaged, nothing was missing and it even came with extra hardware. My initial complaint was that the finish was not a smooth solid black as it appeared in pictures. The finish is more of a black/expresso oak finish. The instructions seemed detailed and easy to follow. I got about half way through the assembly process and then things took a turn. When it came to actually putting the shelves together with one another they began to disassemble. It was difficult to make the pieces stay together. Since they were only being held together by wooden pegs and glue. The assembly required you to hammer the pegs into the holes with a rubber hammer to secure each part to the other. Well in doing so the paint chipped from the edges of the shelves. It was very difficult to get the shelves and sides to sit flush. The cuts of the side walls and the top panel seems to be off. After it was assembled as best as I could get it, there were many noticeable gaps between the shelves from the lack of screws and support. Overall I would say this product was very cheaply made. The lack of screws and the use of pegs and glue makes it a poor quality product. For the cost that I paid for this bar cart I can only see it lasting 6months to a year with minimum use. I am glad I have furniture market to cover the chips in the wood. Also it was very disappointing that the wheels did not lock so the car moves around when it’s touched. This is not something I would purchase again nor recommend it to others. It is comparable to furniture that you can buy from store like Family Dollar or Dollar General. If it were not for the amount of work it would take for me to disassemble and repackage this, I would send it back and request a refund!!!

It will take some time to assemble, but will reiterate that it is a good product for the price. I have recommended my Father purchase this as well.

Great product. Shipping issues and company personally saw to an immediate replacement. Perfect fit for my apartment.
