Fire hazard in UK
I am returning this. It came with a US plug, which I thought was fine. I got an adaptor and plugged it in. Fine. I noticed the bed was warm all the time. Cat in it or not the bed was very warm. And when you pressed on it with your hand it made a buzzing noise. Fast forward a few days and I’m smelling burning. You guessed it. Coming from this bed. The plastic heat pad in the bed was boiling and melted. The whole bed smells like a bonfire. Thank god I noticed otherwise it could have caught fire. I have another one of these beds that is the UK version and it works fine. Only gets warm when a cat is in it etc. plus the UK one doesn’t have a heat pad. I don’t know where this one came from but it’s a safety hazard. Not happy at all, especially considering the price of this bed.If you are in the UK don’t buy this pet bed!!
