Ticonderoga Noir Black Wood-Cased #2 Pencils, Holographic Design, 12 Count

These are my favorite pencils. I like that they are already sharpened and the point lasts for awhile. They sharpen well without peeling or snapping. They write smoothly with a light pressure, and have a dark line that doesn't smudge or fade out but is also easy to erase as necessary. I use them for taking notes at home and at work - they write precisely enough that the quality of the writing looks good even when copied or scanned. The design is appealing to my teenage son. My son uses them for homework as well as doodling and sketching (he's an art major.) The high quality of the graphite is good even for drawing since he can easily apply different shading without using a lot of extra pressure or breaking the point. These are a little pricey but I've found that it is worth the extra money since most other pencils just end up in the trash. Always reliable and a favorite brand.

These are my favorite pencils to use for sketching and drawing. The classic Ticonderoga #2 smooth graphite and excellent eraser but with a little flash befitting a bauble loving mermaid.

I cannot stand the newer plastic covered printed pencils. These are the pencils I remember from my childhood. Easy to sharpen. Write dark. Erasers are solid too. The holographic are really cool. If you need number 2 original type pencils for your kids, nothing compares!

These are unique, but still have the Ticonderoga quality we’ve all come to expect and rely upon. The silvery-holographic color and black wood are a fun change from the school bus yellow pencils! I bought a gross of these for my fifth-grade-teacher-daughter’s class…she was absolutely delighted with them and her kids know where their pencils come from!

Super pretty, write, sharpen, and erase well! My niece loves them for school! They all arrived sharpened and none were broken. Definitely a great alternative to the average boring pencils everyone else uses.

The pencils are a great color and write, sharpen and erase great. No complaints other than I only received 10 pencils instead of the purchased 12.

These pencils write smoothly and I use them mainly for crossword puzzles.

Very disappointed. Shipping package was OK, but box inside torn & some pencils missing. This was obviously damaged when packed. For a refund Amazon want me to pay shipping to USA. My faith in Amazon has been severely diminished when goods are knowingly shipped damaged and short. It was supposed to be a gift.

I L-O-V-E these pencils and have purchased three packs so I have them forever. They're my signature and official pencil of my return to academics nearing on 40. People admire them all the time and so do I! Not only are they beautiful but they write well, have strong lead that doesn't break, sharpen like a dream, and last forever. I've been using them consistently for a year now and am only like half through 2 of them and just started on my third. They've carried me through both science and art classes. They were with me on multiple outdoor biogeography lab courses where it down-poured harder than I've ever seen, wrote on my soaked papers, and retained all writing so I didn't have to do it again. They've written some A and A+ exams. I'm especially impressed the holographic paint or whatever is on them hasn't washed or rubbed off. I totally thought it would! A+++++++++++++++ Ticonderoga pencils are the only ones I will ever use again. I had a pack of the multi-colour ones before these that lasted years and were great too but NOTHING beats holographic silver 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Great pencils, lovely design. I noted someone said that there was damage to the holo wrapping. I have seen a tiny bit of this but not on all and not much. They are lovely to write with.

I feel like I'm in elementary school again when writing with these pencils, and I mean that in the best possible way. These pencils look so cool with their holographic body and black wood core. The finish is great. Neither it nor the black from the wood rub off on fingers. These pencils sharpen great and hold a point very well. The lead is strong, and it is nice and smooth to write with. It doesn't smudge either, even if you're a lefty. I'm usually a mechanical pencil kind of a girl, but I love writing with these holographic pencils. Now I just need to find my old Lisa Frank notebooks...
