Critical Assembly: A Technical History of Los Alamos during the Oppenheimer Years, 1943–1945

Having watched Oppenheimer movie, i came away thinking if you did not already know some of the history the movie made no sense ( the unnamed bongo-drum player in some shots alludes to Feyman, who got a Nobel subsequently). Thus, a search for decent info which led to this book. It serves the purpose, and much recommended as a decent history of the background behind the movie.
