Best solution to add custom gutters
This is my second order of this product. First order went across a whole bank of louvered windows and has held up almost a year without budging taking full sun and heat, freezing winter temps.Just installed another gutter on my corrugated aluminum 5th over a bank of large side windows, will do the other side today. The tape backing is VERY sticky once set so get it right the first time or loosely press in place every few inches to test, otherwise you can leave part of the black sticky tape on your RV.Someone asked can this be curved down around windows several inches - yes it can - and also over thick corrugated aluminum! Lay it in the sun, get it nice and soft, or have a heat gun handy and gently heat the end you want curved plus heat your metal trailer wall. It will conform like butter. Peel tape back only a few inches at a time, press in place, then rub with a smooth rounded end tool of some type, paint brush, wrench, something smooth, and slowly work across. If you want to get fancy, get up there with a small level and check that you're laying it so water will run well, or, make a high spot in the middle so water runs easily to both gutter ends. This product is fabulous for do it yourself gutters and especially if you live in an area where it rains hard. You can never go wrong adding more gutters over major windows, doors etc. I've read all the reviews here and can't figure out how people could complain. Yes, it comes coiled up in a box but it will flatten out nicely in heat or sunshine. Simply extend it out on your lawn until good and pliable. As for people complaining that it doesn't stick and falls off - I have a very hard time seeing that happen as once you firmly press it in place, it is on tight. Maybe slick fiberglass covered in some kind of wax product but I doubt that would stop this tape from sticking. If I can make it stick on 90 to 180 degree curves in places than I suspect anybody can. Clean your rig with alcohol/ water half half where you want the gutter, I pass over that with my heat gun afterwards, start laying it out just a few inches peeling tape backing slowly, press hard with fingers and or rounded end tool, done. It's not moving! Great product for the price!

Van Rain Gutters Installed
It is so great to belong to a facebook user group about camper van building! This was one of the many products that have been used by members to solve the strange problem of the RAM ProMaster not having rain gutters over the drivers, passenger and sliding doors. The two back doors are fine. It's also nice that the van has a natural place to adhere the gutter. Now I need to see how it works in a rain storm!

A great solution to windshield streaks!
OK, this is the BOMB!, has saved me so much work. I put a strip directly above the huge windshield on my Class A RV to channel water and dripping dew away from the shield and too the sides. This has totally eliminated the dark and dirt streaks from the glass. Every morning on the road I would have to get out the ladder and clean those streaks off the windshield, a 15-20 minute process, which I am happy to say I no longer have to do. The channel sticks very well after cleaning the surface with mineral sprites, and will curve enough to follow around the top of the shield. Be careful to position it right the first time as once stuck it is there for good, peel off the backing a foot or so at a time and align with the rubber windshield gasket. Looks OEM and does the job, a bit expensive and I wish it was in 10' lengths but it is what it is, I now have extra. Haven't gone thru a hot summer yet but I expect it will stay stuck as the 3M adhesive is the same used for car emblems.

This is a quality product.
I bought this for my fiberglass travel trailer that has a smooth gel coat . The trailer had no rain diversion system over the roll out windows, so when it rained, water came in the windows like a waterfall. I cleaned the gel coat 3 times with paper towels and winded and then 3 times with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. The self adhesive strips stuck like they had been welded on. In one place I decided to relocate one strip-nope! It is on there. Hints: work short sections of the adhesive (4-5 inches), and be 100% sure when it sticks that that is where you want it. I used blue painter tape and in one area a taught string to guide me. Having another set of hands is also helpful. After 3 big rainstorms, I can say it worked perfectly. No rain in the windows.

Easy to use, sticks very well.
Added this drip rail to my RV. Used a cleaner to make sure all dirt was removed from the area I was going to apply the drip rail. I pulled a few inches of the backing material at a time to make sure I could get the drip rail to go where I wanted it. Once I got it in place and put a little pressure on it the adhesive was very strong and it looked great. Two days later we had rain and it worked perfectly.

Adhesive failure
Adhesive failure. I carefully followed the instructions for applying this drip rail. I used alcohol, as instructed to do, to insure that the area applied was very clean. It went up smoothly. However, when I went to pickup my RV a month later from the storage facility, half of the drip rail was hanging down. To drive it away I had to pull off the rest of the drip rail and some of the paint on the RV came off. Ugh! I don’t know if it was the California sun or just poor adhesive, but this” upgrade” to my RV was a failure.

Not Suitable for Rockwood Roo Travel Trailers
I'm extremely disappointed in the product. For my application, it rates ZERO stars. I cleaned the surface as suggested. The product seemed to be super sticky. I thought I had a winner. The product the literally dropped off the front and the rear of my 2015 Rockwood Roo 23IKSS after about a week. $50 wasted.

Poor adhesive, wouldn't go on straight
As other reviews have stated, the adhesive for this leaves a lot to be desired. I tried to supplement it with adhesive spray, but it still wasn't enough to counteract the coil of the plastic. I would like to have put it higher on my trailer but the rivets just didn't allow for a straight line any higher. I will probably retry getting it to stick once the snow lets up.

Stopped leak into RV Compartment
Kept getting water in my rear compartment so thought I';d try this prior to looking for leak in roof. I had previously purchased better rubber gaskets for door but it still leaked. This worked. Rained all weekend and not wetness.I cleaned surfaces VERY well with a special fibreglass cleaner RV store recommended--prior to sealant. I laid it out flat in the sun prior to installation as recommended. Unfortunately the start point which went around a corner keeps popping off. Will have to get some glue to get it to stick. Perhaps cut off the first 6" of J trim prior to installation? The other corner stuck perfect.

Will not stick longer than a day. Do Not Buy.
This product went on easily except it started coming off within a day. Tried again and it will not adhere to the fibreglass finish of RV. We did all the prep, made sure the surface was clean and used alcohol as a final pre install and it still is coming off. Am now trying various glues, but this is not acceptable to me. Can definitely not recommend to anyone.

Solve water streaking from the roof of your RV
I used this trim to correct the streaking problem that occurs from the roof of our 2014 class A motor home... it works... but be cautioned... you only get one shot at installing... get it wrong and you have to strip it off and start over... and it does not come off easily... I used acetone to help dissolve the 3 M glue on the first short piece that I messed up... the biggest problem is the memory in the stripping... it wants to move even with the drip strip firmly held in position... hold the trim exactly where you want it and slowly pull the backing off the 3 M tape... once applied, consider it permanent...... clean the area well before applying with a product like Shock It Clean and a solvent such as camp fuel (it evaporates and leaves no residue) to remove any grease from the surface... we have finished one side of our 38 ft motor home and are pleased with the appearance and with how well it works at stopping the streaking problem...

La longueur du produit est de 25 pieds. Je le mentionne car ce n'est pas évident de le savoir puisque la description indique 2 pieds environ.
