This is a very thick heavy gel that I use when I diffuse my hair to get curls that need to look nice and perfect. I ordered this overseas and both containers had exploded when they arrived, but there was still enough gel in them to use them after I washed them off. I was glad there was nothing else in the package with them. It works really well to hold my curly hair in place with a diffuser without leaving my hair crunchy. Normally I start with wet hair and I put a heat protectant, a curl cream and then this gel on top and I diffuse it until it’s 80% dry it has pretty consistent results. It holds, but it’s not crunchy. I would not try to use this if I was not planning to diffuse because otherwise it would be way too heavy for my hair.

I got it because I saw a lot of good reviewed. It smells great, but felt it didn’t hold all day. But still like it anyway, and will use the rest of the tub.

Purchased for the wife and daughter to use as edge control. Last the whole school or work day. Used for straight and coarse hair types.

I have bought this product over the years and it worked perfectly. When I purchased a small jar in store I noticed the packaging was different. When I used it this time I realized they changed the formula too. First thing I noticed was that it smelled different and the consistency was different. Leaves my hair coarse and frizzy. Not smooth and silky like before. It does not work the way it used to. I thought I may have purchased the wrong thing. So I made the order online I was so disappointed to find that they have in fact changed the product. It took me a while to find a gel that worked and now I have to start the search once again. Had to return.

Good product however damaged on delivery.
