Usually use the tan accelerator body lotion all year round, does what it says and is a good moisturiser without being sticky and heavy, even in the heat of summer. The self tan I have never used before, but it is very easy to apply, just like a normal moisturiser and dries fairly quickly. Moreover, it doesn't stain clothing or bedding after use and builds up a gently colour over tow or three applications depending how dark you want to be. I find it lasts well too, without getting patchy. They say it doesn't have that 'biscuity' fake tan smell but although it initially doesn't I find I can smell it as the tan is developing. However it doesn't last long and isn't overpowering. Also, doesn't always happen each time it's applied! Expensive as they may be, you get what you pay for in this instance and they're certainly worth a try.

Great product. Very moisturising and certainly helps get a great tan with minimal sun exposure.

They are expensive yes but a nice treat, smell OK and I have a nice subtle colour by using 3 times a week and it doesn't dry out your skin. I can't comment on how effective the tan accelerator is because it's winter but I use it as daily moisturiser and it's great on my dry menopausal skin!

Saved a lot of money buying on here compared to brands own website. Seems to be the same?

I think the two products used together give the best results, so I just keep repurchasing when I need to. Used together with regular sunbathing (when we have the weather) promotes a good tan which lasts.

I bought this to prepare me for my recent holiday to Tenerife as I couldn't get hold of the Elemis tan accelerator that I usually buy. Sad to say it really didn't work for me. I don't go particularly dark but do go a nice golden colour, sadly I've not reached anything like the colour I would normally achieve with the Elemis lotion. I have given it two stars as it is really nice as a moisturiser and has left my skin lovely and soft since returning, but I wouldn't buy it again.
