Gynostemma (Jiaogulan) tea (150 gram ( Organic))

Herbal tea imported from Fujian province China. Each bag containing 2 g. of the tea, no stems in the bags. Taste is very good with a little sweetness, doesn't get bitter.I don't feel I receiving a huge amount of energy but I noticed that I have it for all the day now. Previously I used to feel tired after 9 pm. I feel myself more relaxed in the days I take a tea: no worried, no bustle. Feeling as after good massage.I noticed that neck and knee pain reduced. In some days I don't feel it at all.I don't lost a weight but I lost a water. In the tea-day I go to the restroom more often than usually.What I also noticed: I have a heart problem and if I take this tea more than 4 consecutive days - it's difficult for my heart, maybe reason in the lost of water.Just be attention to yourself if you have some health problem.I start to take the tea with interruption and I feel better now.I can walking for more long time now (can't to do it previously).I want to say - It's a good tea. I take it for a 3 weeks and I notice my health improvement. But it's not just a tea but a herb with lot of medical ability. I recommending Gynostemma Tea for everybody but watch your feeling.Wish all of you stay healthy for a long time!

I'm not obsessed with dieting or weight loss and don't keep a scale at home. I had read a couple of interesting studies about gynostemma tea, that it helped level blood sugar, increase weight loss and lower cholesterol over long periods of time, generally between 2-6 months. I started drinking 2 cups per day exactly one month ago. Yes, I missed a couple of days. As I have pre-existing medical concerns I first went to my Dr. He noted my weight and my above normal cholesterol. I've just returned from my Dr, a one month followup. I've lost 22.5 lbs. He opted not to do blood work to check my cholesterol yet as he felt one month was too soon for there to be a difference. I'll have him check it next month at my next followup appointment and I'll return here to note any further weight loss and possible cholesterol improvement in my review.To clarify, I have not begun or increased my exercise during this period of time, nor have I made additional dieting efforts. I'd say I noticed feeling less hungry after about 2 weeks of drinking the tea but I still enjoy chocolates and certain fattening foods on occasion when I crave them. I have not intentionally cut out bread, carbs, sweets, etc or made any other life changes. The only change I have made has been to drink this tea daily, usually 6 days per week. I make a pot of tea using 2 gynostemma tea bags along with a tablespoon of loose jasmine tea that I strain in a tea ball. Don't know if the addition of the Jasmine tea is a relevant factor, thought it worth mentioning.

I like this tea. It is a tea that I used years ago and I was so happy to find it again. I had almost forgotten about it but happened to find a bag of the original tea that I bought so long ago in an Asian market. I drink more black tea than this tea but it’s a wonderful addition to the regular tea I drink. I recommend it I like the taste.

I make one cup of coffee (16 oz) at a time. Tear open a bag of this and add it to the coffee. Adds a sort of sweet flavor to the coffee.

I have tried other brands of this "tea", that are more bitter. This is mellow and more earthy. I have 2-3 cups per day and enjoy the flavor. Primarily started this type of tea to lower Cholesterol, happy to report in six months with no change to my diet or exercise program my bad cholesterol is down 4 pts and the good up 4 pts....didnt lower the total number but a good start. Might not be the tea.....but it might.

I was looking for a tea that would keep me energized and replace coffee, energy drinks and my blood pressure medicine. Seems like a lot to ask froma tea But guess what? It worked for me so quickly. Wow! I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! BTW: I give it to my asthmatic grandson when he's here and no need for his usual meds when being around my dog.

This tea really helps to reset your mind and body so that you get the rest you need. After my wife started drinking one cup every night, within 2 weeks, she was getting 7-8 hours of sleep every night (and even sleeping through her hot flashes with her peri-menopause). This rest in turn has helped ease the symptoms of menopause and to control some of the pain related to her fibromyalgia, as when she rests, she wakes with less anxiety and is then able to move about more easily and even engage in light exercise. I highly recommend this tea for those who suffer from fibromyalgia and menopause symptoms.

I have tried several varieties of jiao gu lan, and, as far as teas go, this is my favorite. I even like it better than the beautiful, dark green bulk jiao gu lan, as it feels stronger to me. I have also bought the powdered gynostemma from [...] and taken that by the teaspoonful or in coffee, and found that to actually be the best, although this tea runs neck and neck with that. I have tried gynostemma powder from several sources, but found the only one that made me understand why people like gynostemma for stamina, etc., is the product from [...] But be aware, if you decide to try herbalcom, that their website is not fancy, to say the least, and they don't respond to emails or phone calls. And they aren't super fast shippers. I have purchased a LOT of herbs from them over the last few years, including hundreds of dollars in a single purchase, and have always received everything I have ordered, and the quality is one of the best. And they are cheap, with flat rate shipping.But this is about jiao gu lan tea--so my verdict on this tea is that it is well worth it, and is excellent quality, even though the contents of the tea bags is straw-colored, and not the vibrant green of the bulk gynostemma I have also purchased.
