) I am very pleased with the 4 knitting hoops
Readaeer Round Knitting Loom Set:) I am very pleased with the 4 knitting hoops; the 4 "clover type" pom-pom makers; the needle and the hook that came in the nice see thru plastic carry case with a one page hoop knitting instruction. I especially like that all the pegs were glued in place for added strength. It has been many years since I seen such great quality!.I wrapped sports wrap around hook handle for my arthritic hand comfort and now it is custom fit for me and hours later with no pain. I have been having great fun with instant pleasure at all the projects I am doing! There are a few basics to remember: #1 You can always take the yarn off the pegs, unwrap the project yarn and start over if it does not look right!#2 Relax! Go slow and wrap the pegs slowly and loosely till you get the hang of how the yarn works on the pegs. #3 Smile! Your imagination is your only limit! Make hats; socks; slippers; scarves; blankets; lap covers; aprons; ear wraps; mittens; gloves; sweaters; toys....????Try watching You Tube Videos on Loom Knitting and Pom-Pom making. These Pom-Pom makers are considered "clover type", which are very easy to use. I looked it up on you tube...start with one by looking it over, put it on table in front of you with long white area positioned at 12 and 6 on a clock. (It looks like an alien star ship.) Under those ends are hinges and next to the hinges are 2 tabs by the top and 2 tabs by the bottom. Slowly pull outward. You will see that there is a metal pin holding the 2 halves together. Look at the colored half moons next to each other, you will be wrapping yarn around each double half moon starting under and over the top (going round and round filling in the culvert opening without going past the flat edges, stop, cut yarn, repeat on other double half) Now squeeze both sides together to look like a circle again. Take a scissor following between both halves top edges and cut (carefully set aside). Cut 12" piece of yarn (or ? size) and wrap between both sides (or ships). Pull and tie off by wrapping a couple of times and a couple of knots. Gently pull apart from the center. Voila! You have a great pom-pom to add to your knitting projects. Also, visit your local library for books on loom knitting, they have LOTS!

Even clumsy people can make a knit cap/hat
I have tried repeatedly to learn how to knit and crochet, but no matter how hard I try, I haven’t been able to learn to do anything except make a long series of stitches. I can’t turn the work in order to make more rows. But these round hand held looms have made me a successful knitter/crocheter. I can now make a wearable knit cap. I searched for “how to” videos on YouTube and found a lot that explained what to do. I’ve made three caps. The first one wasn’t wearable, because the yarn I used was too small in diameter. The second cap is wearable, but I “dropped” a few stitches and didn’t keep the yarn tension consistent— some stitches were a little tight and some were a little loose. Finally the third cap is a real success. I made it on the largest size loom. You may think that would be too large, but it is perfect for a man’s size head. The next size down is perfect for a woman and the next size down will fit a child very well. I have only made the knit cap, so I can only tell you about my experience with it. I haven’t tried to make anything else yet, because so far I have only been interested in knitting caps for me and my family. However, I feel confident that I can make other items on this loom. I will just look for easy to follow videos on YouTube. There is one woman on YouTube that explains how to use these looms better than anyone else. Her name is Wambui, and her site is called Wambui Made It. She explains in detail everything you need to know to make a knit hat. She makes some other things too, like scarves and hand warmers, but hats seem to be her specialty. I recommend her videos over anyone else, especially if you have never done round loom weaving before. I am a total klutz at knitting and/or crocheting. I have very poor eye-hand coordination, but I learned how to weave on this loom very easily thanks to Wambui Made It. I recommend this hand-held loom. It’s fun and easy to learn to use.

Great
I absolutely love these knitting looms. I do not typically knit, but this made it easy. Very durable. Several size features.

Good product overall
I've been knitting and crocheting for more than 45 years, but never tried loom knitting before. I find I like this technique for a quick knit-in-the-round project. I could make a similar style of little baby hat with double points or two circular needles, but this is definitely faster. You have to use bulkier yarn or multiple strands, so the hat is thick and warm, more suitable for Alaska than Texas, where my new grandbaby will be. It will be great for a teddy bear later. I down rated slightly because the 7 and 11 inch rings have odd numbers of pegs, 31 and 41 respectively. You need an even number or a number divided by 3 for ribbing. I probably could do ribbing much faster on normal needles anyway, so that wouldn't be a problem for me, but the listing should make that information clear. Also, the handle broke on my second hat. I'm not that strong. As you can see in the picture, the metal part of the hook doesn't go down far enough into the handle. The handle is a hard plastic and was very uncomfortable to use, so I would try a different one in any case. Similar sets are much more expensive in local stores. I feel I got my money's worth on these. The design of the pegs is easy to work with. There were no instructions for the pompom makers, but I found a youtube video. They're quick and fun to use.

Very durable and easy to use
I'm a crocheter and couldn't figure out the knitting needles. I kept dropping stitches and I was not enjoying it at all. So I decided to try using the knitting looms. I found this set on Amazon for a good price. I was impressed with the durability and I like that the pegs are set and don't pop in and out. I also like that the gauge is for bulky yarn because I wanted to make thicker hats, scarves and socks. The knitting hook looked very cheap so I bought a better one. I've been watching YouTube videos to learn how to use the looms, and the pompom maker. I've already made 3 hats, a pompom and one sock. This is super easy to use! I would recommend this to anyone that likes to knit.
