This is the real deal. "Kambaba jasper" (or more properly "elderite") is one of my favorite stones.Just a note:Contrary to pervasive rumor, elderite is essentially a volcanic rhyolite (NOT an algae stromatolite - and technically not a jasper either). "Kambaba jasper" is a trade name, while "elderite" is more accurate and encompassing. I actually find that this information makes this particular rock even more fascinating. It's basically ancient transformed lava that contains quartz.The turtle I received passed the scratch test for a mohs hardness of AT LEAST 6.5-7, so it is legit. I'm very happy with how it looks.Awesome little specimen for any rockhound.
