Games are now 40-60-90gigabytes. On a 1tb Xbox that’s barely 10 new ish games storage. With Gamepass and live Gold, there are hundreds to try, this means deleting and installing every few days.Until I bought this.Unboxed it, plugged it in, Xbox asked if I wanted it formatting for games or other usage ( like music or films) ...I chose games. Two minutes later I started a queue of all the games I want ready to use. Skyrim, Fallout 3 &4 , just cause 3&4, Far Cry, Gears of war... it took a while to install them all, but now I have nearly 50 titles ready to play, and room to add a few more.Silent, smooth, instant load up.Excellent!

Beware, this is a 5.25 Hard disk, with terrible recalibration noises.Very, very heavy, and needs power from a mains wall wart.

I bought two of these oin September 2019 but didn't get to open them until yesterday as I did not need them earlier. One works perfectly but the other has the drive unfixed within the casing which means not only does it rattle about but USB connector does not fit due to the depth and movement and the drive therefore cannot be read by the computer. Can IU return this? No. Despite the fact there is a problem with the manufacture the returns window closes a month after delivery. So be warned. You are left with faulty goods if you order them before you need them. Last time I'll be anything like this through Amazon...

when moving a pic or film its fine but when moving bigger files like games 90% of my games either get an error when just moving the game files says there to big yet it will write some game to it and some wont its crazy how and why does it only write some games when my other 3 2tb drives have no errors what so ever and they do not reject files and pick and chose files and be 40gb and will write to drive then theres a file 20gb and will say error file to big the last time i had this isue i lost all my pics and video of my kids so these drives are just not safe enough or trusted to keep working after a short time i thought this item was made in china as its so poorly made an yet its make in wales sort it out guys..

Does a good job. Just make sure everything is copied onto it before deleting from your actual device. Very easy to us as well. You do need to plug into a power source each time you use it. It also gets quite hot.

Not a very good purchase at all... This device is very slow and does not always get recognised by the USB connection... this is not a driver issue and the USB works fine with other products. If you require the device for very simple storage, then it’s a potential option, however I have concerns around its reliability as does not appear to be very well made or of a reasonable quality.

I like the fact that all of my photos transferred in less than 5mins (12000+). The only down side is a constant clicking as the drive is waiting for data. Not really a problem as I turn the drive on and off as required.

It's good. Really my only gripe is my gripe with all memory size claims. 1kbit should be 1024 bits not 1000. In reality this 4tb HDD is less than 3.5tb. I know it's been "the" rip off for years and every manufacture does it yada yada yada...
