Have you played your xbox one for a long period of time with the new controller? Did you notice that after a while it starts to smell due to your sweat? This rubber contraption keeps the controller fresh and clean from normal daily use specially if you play for a long period of time. A lot of the controllers have edges that dirt gets into and they become noticeable after a while.Also if you just want to take care of your new expensive controller this would be a great idea.

The thumb grip is amazing you really feel the difference. I took a start off because of the controller grip not fitting the controller body of the controller very well.

Button covers are good.The big problem is the big selling point of fitting the Elite controller. They don't.In fact , the controller covers are loose and prevent the use of some buttons. It's also crazy loose at the front , especially around the battery cover. That looseness, including having to undo the covering a ridiculous amount to change said battery pack, is likely what contributes to the reason it slips and covers crucial buttons.Based on other reviews , I see that's not an uncommon issue. I took a chance based on the Foamy Lizard brand, and the fact that they worked great on my 360 controller.The reason I buy these covers is because I need them to deal with a disability that makes it hard for me to hold the controller. The ribbed texture is great , but it needs to have that cover areas such as the side and the top, closer to the buttons. I've included photos below to show those areas , as well as the serious problems with overall fit.My personal belief is that this is due to the inside being smooth, whilst the Elite controller is textured on it's own merit, which was another reason I purchased the Elite controller, aside from the obvious ability to customise everything else.Due to an illness, I'm not able to return them. I'm keeping the stick covers, but giving the controller sleeve to a buddy with a non Elite controller. I'm pretty sure it'll fit the normal one better since it's as smooth and slippery as the 360 one was.

Well it is ok. Not what I would call great, but more of what I would call not bad. It is accurately described in the fact that it will fit your xbox controller. It will not fit it like a complete glove. Some of the holes are a little it off, and if you are placing it on an elite version 2 then you wont be able to see the control selector lights. The skin itself is a bit slicker than I would care for. More slick than the elite controler groups, but then again I wanted this to protect those grips from getting dirty from natural hand oils. The grippy area isnt much better besides the fact that it has a rough surface which makes it slightly better. I'm ok with this purchace but it is a little lacking for the money so I'm giving it an ok rating.

Ok so after installing this thing that came crumpled up in a ziplock bag, I was delighted by how it feels. But my delight was short lived because I can't use this item because it doesn't allow you to use it with all the accessories for the elite controller. When I plug in my chat pad it doesn't work because the cutout doesn't allow the chat pad to plug all the way in.
