CalPure Avocado Oil, 500 ML (16.9 Fl. Oz.)

I love this oil. Very light taste, very healthy and extremely high smoke point. I've tried other Avacado oils but many of them taste "burnt" because they aren't cold pressed like the CalPure. If you are looking for a high quality oil that lets your food taste shine through and can withstand high temps for frying or wok cooking, this is the one. Worth every penny.

This avocado oil is the deal! I have been attempting to make home made mayo to avoid the nasty, harmful oil and junk in store bought. I tried olive oil and macadamia nut oil...neither worked, taste of the oils was overpowering. This is very mild and worked perfectly. I'm sure it would be great drizzled on salad. It also has a high smoke point, so quite versatile. It comes in a glass bottle that was well packed...no leaks. The label says it does not need refrigeration after opening and the expiration date is a good year+ out (mine will be used up way before then!) If you're looking for a great multipurpose oil, this is it!

This is pretty good. It tastes light and savory. I love avocado oil. It's amongst the healthiest, if not the healthiest cooking oils you can use. It can also handle higher temperatures, so I use it in piece of my usual olive oil when dealing with high heat dishes. Or anything where a subtle flavor of avocado is welcome (Mexican and Greek food!). Honestly though, I'll probably go with a cheaper brand next time because the significantly higher price tag is not Worth it.

At first glance you may say, "how much for oil?!" but rest assured, your money is being spent wisely. As far as luxury oils go, this is not that expensive, but the quality is still top notch. I use this to pop popcorn and fry a few different things in. It is a healthier alternative to canola or vegetable oil. Try it - you wont be sorry!

Decent price Quality less than I hoped, but expected Has better flash point than olive oil

So glad I started using this avocado oil. I love it's mild flavor. I bake with it...muffins, cornbread, cakes, breads. I've never cared for the strong flavor of olive oil and the flavor it gave my baked items. This oil is also great for seasoning my cast iron and frying/roasting foods due to its high smoke point! Just about to open my 3rd bottle and I just ordered two more. Love that it's packaged in dark glass bottles.

This is an excellent cooking oil, but it is also great as a lubricant for oven racks. You may have noticed that your oven racks don't slide as smoothly as the used to, especially if you have run them through an oven self-cleaning cycle. Just remove the racks and rub a coating of avocado oil on the outside rails and they will slide smoothly again. You can use other cooking oils for this, but the avocado oil will hold up better in the hot oven environment because of its high smoke point.

I didn't realize this when I ordered this item, but this is a lighter avocado oil. It is not like the Extra Virgin which is dark colored and flavorful. That being said, this is a nice neutral oil for sauteeing, frying, and for making salad dressings. This is also a great ingredient for making soap, body butter, and shaving lotion. I wish the Extra Virgin was on S&S, like this one is. Overall, this seems like a good company. Their avocado oil is much better than another brand I was buying before.
