Olivia French Style Basket (STOREKECH is A Fake)

The basket it very nicely made. It doesn’t really look like the photo. It is much wider and less deep and the handles are longer than I thought they would be, but I’m happy with it and looking forward to using it at the farmers market next week. I saw some reviews saying the handles were too short to put over your shoulder - that is not the case with mine.

Good looking, quality materials & construction, sturdy market basket, just the right size for my lifestyle! A bit $$$but worth it for strong woven straw &well sewn leather handles.

It seems well made and it has that French feel

Overall, I'm happy with this basket. I have been looking for a while for one because it sits on our console table by the entrance door. Its light straw color matches well with the pendant light overhead. The handles are also of a light leather I was going for. The craftsmanship is on the rough side. My HomeEc teacher would have given a B for this product. I spent sometime trimming off the loose threads. One side of the top edge of the basket is twisted and sewn in an awkward finish (now I understand what one of the photos on Amazon was about). That's just being nit picky, however. I don't mind it sitting on the console table, ready to grab when we go to the pool this summer...

Beautiful basket, functional for carrying things up and down our 21 stairs. I love to pretend I’m shopping in a French market.

Excellent quality and service

Shipping was reasonably fast from UK to US. I like the shape and for the price it is worth it because These bags can be quite pricy. The leather is nice. However, the bottom of the bag is quite misshapen and it is much greener than in the photos. I understand there will be some variety in the materials and shape, however, the base of the bag should be a uniform oval. It looks like there was a mistake in forming the base and wasn’t re-done. It’s pretty obvious when the bag is held and it doesn’t sit right when put down.

This is exactly what I wanted! I love it for the way it looks and it is also very functional as a laundry basket that you don't mind sitting around your house.
