This trash can works great! The features and control panel design are simple to use and works well. The lid opens to slightly less than 90 degrees. This isn’t an issue from the front, but requires a little extra length when putting trash in from the counter behind; it does help keep food from getting in the hinges. The sensor is very responsive—almost too sensitive as we set it off walking next to the trash can—and it quickly opens again if we need to add more trash before it has shut. It controls trash odor. The 13 gallon bag fits the can well and putting the edge of bag over the ring and inserting it into the can is easy. The ring holds the bag securely while in use. Pulling the bag out of the can is reasonably easy as long as it isn’t overloaded. Filling the can to just below the lid gives us a full bag that is easy to pull shut and tie. This sensor trash can is a great value for the price!

I absolutely love this trash can! The motion sensor works perfectly and makes it super convenient, especially when my hands are full. It opens quickly and closes quietly every time. The stainless steel design looks modern and sleek in my kitchen, and it’s easy to keep clean. The 50L size is just right for a family—big enough that I don’t have to take the trash out constantly. Overall, it’s stylish, hygienic, and worth the price. Highly recommend!

I love my 2 garbage cans that open up automatically HOWEVER they do make noise and open when you just walk by. so you can shut them off and turn back on when you want. other than that they are talk easy to clean and remove/replace the new bag.

This is a great trash can and easy to assemble and get started. The pros: it's lightweight, easy to clean, standard trash bag sizes, touchless. The cons: the design. The way it holds the bag in means you have to remove the top plus an inner layer ring that holds the bag down. That's 2 pieces to set down just to change the bag. It's a little annoying. Other than that, it's a great concept fit being touchless and has lasted a year now.

Love it. Keeps my dog out of the garbage and very nice being hands off.

I am simply obsessed with motion sensor trash bins. They are so practical and hygienic, touchless, and look good anywhere. Bought two of these and very satisfied with quality.

This is our second Ninestars motion sensor trash can. First one lasted more than 12 years! The lid stopped working and after much troubleshooting and trying to find just a replacement lid, we decided to order a new one. I included a picture to show you the new one side by side with the old one. First, we ordered a different brand and the lid stopped working after 2 1/2 weeks. Returned it, and decided to stay with the Ninestars brand, since our previous one lasted more than 12 years! There is a slight noise when the lid opens, but it does not bother us because it is not loud. However, if you’re a person who likes a smooth quiet opening, it may annoy you. However, I would not let that stop me from purchasing this item because it is well worth the cost, especially if we get 8 to 10 years life out of this product.We hope this new one lasts that long too!

Exactly as described, looks clean holds 13 gal. bags. The lid is somewhat thin and works great, can is sturdy however will dent/bulge if compacted or bumped with glass bottle/jars or metal cans. Sensor works too good. Battery life is good, price was decent.

Un artículo indispensable que brinda comodidad, limpieza y gran capacidad de almacenamiento y guarda olores. Recomiendo ampliamente este bote de basura de acero inoxidable, con un brillo que no ha perdido aún después de la limpieza. Es fácil de utilizar, solo pasa tu mano por encima de la tapa y el sensor abre automáticamente la puerta y la cierra de igual forma, no se cierra de golpe, lo cual permite que la basura se deposite con calma en el interior del bote. Utiliza dos pilas tipo C que se consiguen fácilmente en cualquier Oxxo (México). Tengo 3 semanas utilizándolo y funciona igual que la primera vez. Es fácil de utilizar, limpiar y es además un accesorio decorativo de mi cocina. El ruido al abrir y cerrar la puerta es muy bajo. Es necesario utilizar bolsa de basura de 30 galones, la cual se acomoda fácilmente a la tapa. Yo utilizo la marca Hefty con aroma a esencia de lavanda de fabulosos que compro también en Amazon, esta bolsa tiene cordones y está reforzada así que me resulta muy cómodo de sacar la bolsa ya cargada de basura sin riesgo de romperse. El bote tiene capacidad para 50 litros. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Solid garbage can. The motion sensor is great to avoid leaving a mess. Only negative comment is that the motion sensor is overly sensitive - lid goes up when one passes by!

Shopping these was difficult as sizes are difficult to interpret. Once we recieved it we were happy. Works well for now. Has only been about a week. Happy so far
