Rolling my eyes....
So.. this GE Ultra Edge Indoor TV Antenna slim was compared against another bigger and more traditional antenna (which requires assembly). The results were not astonishing, and what I expected. These flat paper antennas probably are only good for people who live close to the broadcast site. I did get marginal reception on a few channels, but it was terrible compared to the more traditional antenna. I don't like to bash products, especially USA companies, but this product is not that great if you want to receive all the channels available OTA. My opinions and statements are unbiased, and based on facts. **25 miles NE of downtown Dallas, TX**

HD Ultra Thin Antenna - OK, But Missing Some Local Channels In Our Area
Before purchasing this antenna, I plugged in my address into the FCC.gov reception site to see if this may work for me. According to the FCC site I would have strong coverage for all local channels. That being said I also decided to get the GE Pro Antenna Amplifier (also a 3-star device) just in case. The antenna and amp are easy to connect. After installing both, I ran a channel scan on our TV. It picked up 23 DTV channels including multiple channels of NBC, ABC, FOX, CW and MeTV and a few obscure channels I had no interest in. The But most noticeably missing were CBS and PBS. For the fun of it, I disconnected the amp just to test and see how effective it was. Running a new scan it only came up with 20 channels, missing a few of the obscure channels. Will this work for you? Maybe. Maybe not. I'd recommend testing it out. In my case, I'm returning the antenna and amp and looking for something stronger.

very short cord
The cord on the antenna is too short. My other antennas allow the device to hook in tv and then I can move it to place in the window for better reception. The cord on this device barely stretches from one end of the tv to the other. It's only a 50" tv. I would not recommend this device for this reason only.

Picked Up Some Channels, but Nothing Good
I followed all of the instructions when trying to get it to work well. I have bought this in order to watch the Superbowl earlier this year. I tested it on multiple spots on my wall and windows near my tv, and also tried to turn it each way as well to see if that helped. It did not. This antenna picked up a few channels, which is why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 star. However, the channels that were picked up were all either in another language or just local channels. The big channels could not be picked up by this antenna at my house. Maybe it will work well at someone else's house but it was not worth the money.

Doesn't work outside big cities
Packaged in just a padded envelope (wtf?) But seemed to arrive in decent condition. We live 35 miles north of Detroit, directly on the US/CA border, and couldn't get a single channel. Not even a Canadian one. Returned same day, Amazon issued a full refund. Perhaps it works well if you live closer to a big city?

Good durable antenna
Got this to replace the tiny antenna that came with my USB TV stick - it picks up way more channels with no drop off in signal. Different colors on each side is also convenient so you have a choice of which color blends in more with whatever you post it against. I ended up putting it against the wall and not the window, since the sunlight melted the adhesive velcro it comes with, so it wouldn't stay put on the window. So far it's also been pretty durable as I've dropped it plenty and creased it in few places when I accidentally jammed my sliding window into it - and it still works fine.

Installed in a minute, no electricity necessary!
It was very easy to install, just insert the coax cable into the tv, and mount the antenna. It picked up all the channels I expected. If you never used an antenna before you have to scan for channels. If you did, scan anyway in case there are new channels available.

Amazing reception!
I was shocked at the number of channels it picked up. It picked up all our local channels, as well as channels from cities 100 plus miles away and even from another state. It's paper thin (really doesn't look like much when you take it out of the box) and lightweight, so can be easily mounted anywhere you like. (Comes with sticky pads) One side is black, the other white, so you can go with the color that blends the best. The 9 ft cord means there is a lot of reach to where you want it hung.

Just doesn't work well
I never had any luck with this antenna. For starters the cable is very thin (bad sign of low quality). I could only pick up 1 channel out of 7 in my area no matter where I put the antenna. The cable is so short, it makes it useless to me as well. I ended up building a "Homemade TV Antenna" from youtube just built from metal hangers (although I used copper wire) and I was amazed how much better it worked.

Excellent
Nous captons 15 postes sur l’île de MTL, qualité d’image excellente encore mieux que le câble. Fonctionne super bien et pointé l’antenne vers une fenêtre pour obtenir le maximum de postes

Two outta three ain't bad..
I was able to get CTV, and CBC, but not Global. I don't think a booster would help, because I'm not that far from the signal for all three. Still worth it for when I want to watch the news and not stream.

Doesn't work
Spend a few more $ and get one with a booster. This one is garbage. The GE name is misleading do not buy this.

Buen producto.
Facil de instalar, sin complicaciones, realiza su funcion, se configura rapidamente; el unico inconveniente es que el material parece que puede romperse, sin embargo no he tenido problemas.
