Great mast that's very stable with added cinder blocks
This roof mount is extremely stable. I used 8 standard cinder blocks to keep it put. It looks like it's made for the thinner concrete blocks but either will do. I live in a rental house with a flat roof and this is exactly what I needed. Pipe Outside Diameter: This 2" mast is actually 1.5" OD. Perhaps I'm completely ignorant to how these are actually measured. I also purchased a couple of 2" U-bolts to mount the antenna and preamplifier to this mast but they were too wide. The Channel Master 4228HD has slightly narrower mount hole spacing which I had to widen with a drill. Not a big deal because I wanted this taller 72" mast. In the end I went to the local HD to get the required U-bolts. I'd easily purchase this again if I end up leaving this with my rental house.

WORKS GREAT
So far it is working great. It sets on the ground on a hill behind us. Concrete blocks fit within the frame work and along with some large rocks provide a stable foundation. It is used for mounting the line-of-site internet antenna required for our internet service. A T-Post, with a plastic pipe attached to it, with a rock base, was our previous antenna mount. This unit is definitely a big improvement and has already survived 60+ mph winds.

You can do better
With having a tripod for the vertical support one would think the bolt-on connection points would be every 120 degrees, nope, not even close. Be prepared to bend the tripod legs to reach their bolt on points. Poor design. It's not worth the return postage to return it so I plan to modify mine and add a 4th support leg. I wish I would have known about the Wade NPRM-3 Roof Mount before I ordered this unit; it has 4 support legs. Live and learn.

Four (4) Stars
Pros: Sturdy at 6ft.; Easy to assemble. Cons: 3 Vertical Supports where 4 would be better IMO.

Oddly difficult to unpack and set up.
Packing in Styrofoam peanuts required more time cleaning up packaging than setting up the rig. A graphic of how the stand goes together would help. Explaining the tripod parts are supposed to be bent would prevent straightening and then rebending.
