The passion translation brings the heart and emotion back to life that is lost in some of the earlier translations. Dr Simmons point of view gives great meaning to how complex the word is and how dynamic the message is for each of us. The in-depth study notes allow the reader an insight into why and how this translation came about. I highly recommend adding this translation to your every day reading habits and purchasing a copy for a friend.

I absolutely love this translation! It has helped me go deeper in my study of these books. There is so much information in the footnotes at the bottom of each page that it caused me to get a deeper understanding of the stories I was reading about. This is a very "meaty" study of the Word of God! I love it!!!
