Get ya some!
I’ve been playing golf a very long time and currently an 8 handicap and around 105mph driver swing speed. I have been using Pro V1’s for a very long time, but recently began trying a few different balls just to bring something new to the game. I’ve recently tried TM Tour Preferred, Pro V1x, Project A, Snell and few other similar balls. Nothing really stood out among that list to make me change until I tried the Chrome Soft. I’ve never been a big fan of Callaway balls so I put off trying these for a very long time, but after playing several rounds I feel this ball is as good as anything out there. I used the 2016 balls (two dots after the word Chrome Soft on the ball). It is long off the tee without a lot of side spin meaning it goes pretty straight even when not hit perfectly, reacts very well to long irons, really nice spin with the short irons and great feel on putts. Has a nice high trajectory that goes a long ways. Around the green on pitches and chips it performs extremely well without too much spin.To me it also depends on what type of greens you have where you play. I am on bent grass greens the most but do play Bermuda greens from time to time. The Chrome Soft is exceptional on Bermuda. On Bent Grass it will spin back a lot if you don’t control your wedge game. All in all, this is going to be my go to ball for at least a few months. I think for the money it performs just as well as the Pro V1 for my game yet gives me something new which has improved my desire to play more golf.

like the greens over here
I began playing these two months ago and so brought them to Scotland. I played these, newest of balls, at the world's oldest course, Musselburgh Links. They, like the greens over here, roll so true. Callaway Chrome Soft are a joy to play. They spin like crazy and can turn damn near ninety degrees in the air, if you need them to. The TRUVIS pattern does a wonderful job of illustrating exactly what kind of spin you imparted on green side shots. They also seem easier to find. I brought 6 balls to Scotland, played 36 holes and I'm going home with the very same 6. Love 'em. I played Project A before and these, though in the next price point, make those seem like Rock Flights. They also boast a nice click off irons and a wonderful smack off the big stick. Golf is a game of innovation and this is the next step!

I dig em
This is for the yellow and black truvis ball, not that the finish color or pattern matters. So I'll just state that I don't have a handicap that I know of. I don't play enough to really have one but, I know the game, I can feel a difference in clubs and equipment and know what I like.I was consistently playing with Dicks sporting goods "on sale" golf balls for a while. I couldn't feel the difference between a noodle or a pro v1. I'm that guy. I'm also the guy that goes looking for his ball in the woods and walks out with 20 others. That's how I came across the Truvis white with red. Played the rest of my round with it and just liked the way it felt off my drive, the approach, and the grass. Putting is another story that I'll get into later. So I finally put my big boy plaid golf pants on (not literally) and bought my first over $30 dozen golf balls on here.I won't say these work miracles but, I feel a difference and they do take some getting used to. I don't know why but, with these golf balls, I need to learn how to putt again. It might be the pattern that's throws me off or in my head. But my putting game has suffered from the > 10-15 ft range. That being said, I like the way it feels coming off the putter face.On the approach shots with irons and even the wedge game, that is where the ball shines. You can see the ball release, it's spin, and you can feel it being controlled by how you swing your club. It's hard to put into words but, if you're questioning your short game, try these and you can help fix your own problem. As for the tee off and driving, I don't notice a difference. I've been playing a long time but haven't cared enough to get better, learn my handicap, etc etc. That being said, I can hit the ball a long long long ways for my size. I'm no stranger to 300+ drives. If you can hit X amount of yards with Y ball then you'll be able to hit the same with this ball. It feels good, flies straight, and is very visible. So overall, if I somehow don't find any balls the next time I play and hit these in the woods, then I'll keep using and buying these. I'm sold on them.Looks: 10 out of 10. But would like to see more truvis patterns like green with red, or white with blue etc etc. The color options are limited right now but I can see a lot of the big companies approaching this market and Callaway expanding on color combos (maybe some limited runs?)Feel: 8/10. Like I said, my putting isn't that great with these but it's not the ball, it's the player and I have to learn these.Response: 10 / 10. These balls will show you your mistakes and that is a huge key to fixing your game.Buy these.

Best Golf Ball On The Market
I have been using the Callaway Supersoft golf balls when they first came out, and have recommended them to all of my friends. Last year I switched to the three piece Chrome Soft and found it to be excellent as well. With the new four piece ball released in 2016 and made in the USA, this is my favorite ball.I am getting more distance, and it is great to putt with. On approach shots the ball lands soft, and my playing partner today asked what ball I was using and I said the Chrome Soft, he used the Titleist Velocity and it was running off the green. I said to switch to the Callaway Chrome Soft, or Supersoft, and so he will buy some on Amazon. Today, I out drove the men with my Chrome Soft and won some money on skins and a low net score.I still use the Supersoft at times when my game is off, and I am hitting over a water hazard (don't want to lose my Chrome Soft in the water), and both golf balls are excellent.I play with the Great Big Bertha adjustable (10.5) men's senior flex driver, and the Great Big Bertha 3 and 5 woods, along with the Callaway Big Bertha irons and hybrids.

Bang for the Buck
I tried a dozen of these after reading several "What's in their bag" articles on golf magazines. They are not as popular as the Titleist Pro V1, but they feel just as good, soft around the greens and are probably the best ball I have played in the last 5 years. They do not come cheap selling around 40 bucks a dozen, but I keep a box around for tournaments and skin's games that I get into. The bang for the buck factor is high in these and I would recommend these as a gift for any golfer of any level. I have yet to meet someone who didn't like these.
