Effectiveness, good texture and ease to use

Excellent product.

The worlds best, most pure, and simple psyllium husk product known to man. No great advertising, or slick packaging. But for people like me 49 yr old, high protein diet, mild diverticulitis, and not enough time or money to eat all the vegetable fiber I need for regular movement, this is the end all. 2 heaping tbls in the morning with a glass of orange juice or water, and the same in the evening if I feel the need, to keep regular, on time, and cleansed. When you go, there is no mess, no push, no explosions, almost no wiping. I can't say enough, I was turned on to this 20 yrs ago, and have been using it off and on this whole time. I found that when I take a break, I have heavy bowl movements, I have to push, and almost developed hemorrhoids a couple of times. Then I get back on my regimen, and wham o/ presto, the magic starts all over again and I wonder why I ever stopped using. I will admit the only reason I ever quit is because I run out of product, but since have learned to keep a big jug like this for the whole family, and when it is about 2/3 gone, I reorder, or go find it in the Vitamin Shoppe, it is 9 dollars more there than here. This is NOT a laxative!! Don't be worried that your bowels will relax as with laxatives. NOT TRUE This is only pure fiber that will simply add clean air, not stinky fermented air, it will not break down, and won't ferment causing stinky "farts"!! It is whole husks from Plantain seeds, and will just rake the walls of you colon clean as it passes through, and a typical poo, after you have started a daily regimen, will last about 2 - 3 seconds. I am a highly qualified rater, as I have felt the results, as well as witnessed them, in my friends which have followed my advise on this product. If you need fiber, or colon cleansing, or are constipated regularly, or just tired of sitting on the throne for extended periods of time, then you need to buy a jug right away!!

We have been using for many years. This is an effective product that is just one natural ingredient with nothing added. Quality has been consistent and we can’t imagine using another.

Excellent product. I use this product daily and am very happy with it. Pros: 1) Does not contain sugar or any sweetners. Note that Metamucil and other products contain sweeteners, which add calories and chemicals 2) Works consistently. 3) Good price. Compare to other products in stores, and you will find the per oz. price is competative. 48 oz. size is a great value and lasts a long time. 4) Decent texture and drinkability. Cons: 1) It is straight fiber and has no flavor. You won't be using this product for the taste, which is actually a selling point in my opinion. Occasionally, I will add some juice to it for flavoring. 2) If you take a large dose of this product, it can get a little thick toward the bottom of the glass. Just add more water and stir. 3) Don't understimate the value of water, both is making the product drinkable, but also in helping the product work as designed in your digestive system. 4) The name of the product. You may not be impressing friends or family by having the jar sitting on your kitchen counter like I do.
