Weleda Renewing Day Face Cream, 1 Fluid Ounce, Plant Rich Moisturizer with Wild Rose, Peach Kernel and Sweet Almond Oils

My skin is super picky about moisturizers and will feel stifled and easily break out with the wrong one. I have a combination thing going on, as well as mild rosacea when products are too harsh, and am in my mid 30s. So I've been looking for products that are gentle, prevent breakouts, AND nourish skin that is just beginning to age. They're tricky to find. Oil free and gel moisturizers don't seem to perform any differently on my face than regular ones.Because this one is oil based, too much does make my face greasy. However, when applied sparingly (which is good because you only get 1oz), it's perfect. It makes my skin feel soft, smooth, breathable, and clean. I think the secret is in the high quality oils (Jojoba oil, Peach kernel oil, rosa moschata seed oil) and light blend. Plus, Weleda products are all natural, not tested on animals, smell great, and just make you feel pampered & pretty.

...I know I did you dirty with that Salt Toothpaste review, but I'm back to made amends.This Day Cream is as fresh and pleasing as its brightly colored packaging would lead you believe. Lovely rose scent, dreamy creamy texture (not too heavy, not too thin), and a little bit goes a long way (though sometimes during a midwest winter, I get the urge to squeeze out a golfball-sized amount and just drown my face in it). I also love that it works well under makeup, bc *god knows I need to wear it (*pick a god, all of them know).Great product, hawny! I am a repeat buyer for the rose day cream from weleda. I've tried SO many brands of mid-prized moisturizers with natural ingredients. This one is by far the best for my skin, which is middle-aged and very sensitive. I use it year-round because it's lightweight and not greasy - it gets absorbed right away and leaves my skin supple.

I like the soft scent of rose and the light smoothness of the cream on my face. The cream blends nicely into my skin. I like all the natural ingredients in the cream. I put it on after a shower in the morning. A very small amount is needed. It does take a bit to soak into my skin. It is NOT too heavy. I think it has reduced the wrinkles. I like the scent and the glow it gives my face.

I bought this face lotion because I am trying to find alternative products to the chemically laden products in regular stores. I like the ingredients list of the Weleda products. I lowered my star value for this item because I don’t feel that it moisturizes my face quite enough. But it’s the best moisturizer made with fewer chemicals that I can find at this point.

I've been using this for years. For my 37-year old Colorado-dry skin, it's just the right amount of moisture and keeps my face soft, smooth and blemish-free. Totally mild, easily absorbed, and the slight rose aroma is faint and authentic. For day use, I combine it 50/50 with sunscreen and spike the mix with a drop of bronzer—it mixes up nicely and it's all I need for the day. Perfect solution.

I read the reviews on this product before placing my order. In fact, it was on several sites, but Amazon had the best price and with Prime, I had it in 2 days. I will be buying this cream again and again. Besides the amazing smell, my face and neck feel wonderful when I am wearing it. I am going to recommend this to all of my friends, and will be buying some for my mother right away.
