Good (cheaper) alternative, and compatible.
Great if your going for cheaper alternatives. These are Heer soldiers, aka members of Germany not the... controversial political party. So yeah good canon fodder in terms of a 'play' scenario, but does not have any distinct insignia.

Good Figures, Questionable Accessories
Bought these to expand on real-world military options in my collection. I’ve previously purchased from Battle Brick, as well as Brick Arms, Citizen Brick, and Brickmania, and found that Battle Brick is often the more reasonably priced. For the minifigures themselves, they are well done. The figures are genuine bricks, restamped with new designs. They come together exactly what you would expect from brand name components. Some of the stamping was a little unfocused, especially across several sets indicating it was definitely a persistent manufacturing challenge; that said the figures still look good. Where there were issues is the accessories, specifically the helmets. Unlike other companies designs, these feel and look a bit cheap. The attachment (anti-stud) for the helmets is not a full stud circle, but two partials, and it doesn’t sit particularly well on the minifigures. I found them much looser than both Brick Arms and Citizen Brick models of Stalheim. It would be nice to perhaps see Battle Brick incorporate Brick Arms accessories to mitigate this problem, especially since BA charges only $1 per helmet, making it likely cheaper to go with than in-house components. Overall, would buy again, but definitely plan to need some after-market accessories for these after-market figures if you’re serious about quality and design elements.
