Works well.
Awesome, our roof was leaking for awhile and I finally got the time to get up there and fix the issue.A vent pipe had tar that was pulling away and breaking the original seal, so I just filled in the cracks and made sure it was well covered. Stuff is super sticky and thick but it wasn’t so bad to get off your hands.Idk if I did it right but I squeezed it out, and dabbed it with some paper towel to make sure it was in the cracks that were there and spread it around and then went in with a second coat for good measure. Roof is no longer leaking.

Worked great for shingle blown off...
During a recent windstorm, a shingle broke off of my gardening shed. The shed came with inexpensive 3-tab shingles for the roof, but nevertheless lasted for many years now (~30+/-). Fortunately the shingle broke cleanly where the tab meets the upperpart of the shingle and landed on the ground in one piece not far from the shed. I purchased this product to reattach (glue) the shingle back on the roof and also bought some shingle nails in case they were needed for the repair. The temperature outside was in the 40'sF and well withing the working temperature of the product. After snipping the dispensing tube, breaking the inner seal, and putting into a caulking gun, I found the product to be very flexible, easy to apply to the shingle, and very adhesive when I placed the shingle back onto the roof. The product allowed me to smooth out the stripes of adhesive I applied to the back of the shingle and could slide the shingle back into position such that it looks like it was never broken off. It adhered so well that I did not need to use any of the roofing nails I purchased. Time will tell if the adhesive keeps the single in place when the next wind storm occurs.

Tough as nails for sure
Countless applications and cures hard as a rock. Super strong bond on pretty much any surface.

Works as advertised.
I used the liquid nails “roof tar” to adhere sections of a septic riser kit and to provide water proofing between the sections. It went on easy and each tube provided enough adhesion for each section. The liquid nails product worked for me at half the price of other brands.

Good Stuff
It's like tar in a tube. Perfect for all it's advertised for. I used it to seal the joint where an extension meets the house wall. Love being able to use a caulking gun to apply it. It's messy if you're messy. Cleans up well with mineral spirits or turpentine.

Glued asphalt shingles
Served its purpose.Reglued a few shingles that had blown off shed and we have had a few heavy storms with strong wind and shingles held well.

Messy, messy, messy...
Bought this to secure shingles at the drip edge. Product seems fine, packaging needs work.Cut the nozzle, pierce the seal, dispense... except a BUNCH of it pushed out the back end of the caulk gun instead of through the nozzle. Wasteful, and this stuff is hard to clean up by design.Seriously, caulk tubes aren't rocket science, this isn't the right place for the manufacturer to save a couple of pennies.
