It does the job of being just a protective mat for my floor around the food bowl but could be better.It is light and flimsy silicone so the corners to come up sometimes. it is easy for this to fold over on itself.Also, my dog recently had an accident on the matt. Great, i thought this will be easy to clean!However, what i noticed is that this silicone rubber is great at absorbing bad smells. No matter how much baking soda or vinegar i use, i cannot get rid of the bad smell this absorbs.If id get a dog mat again, id get something more solid
