Well worth the money
My rear defrost stopped working. Took it to a shop and the mechanic said gotta replace the rear window. I found this and figured worth a try. Easy to apply and my rear defrost works like new.

Heated backlight terminal failure.
I used this to replace an electrical tab that had snapped. This adhesive held the tab well, but only conducted enough current to clear the window a few times. Tested and found the resistance of the joint had increased. *** Instead, use an epoxy with a significant silver content. These are expensive! ***

Proper technique is important.
This adhesive requires close contact between the tab and surface, the adhesive does not bridge well. If it fails you most likely didn't get a close contact or you moved it while it was curing. Prep is important, clean the surfaces with acetone or alcohol. Practice your technique for attaching and holding for a few minutes. You will need good technique holding it in place while it cures.

Product worked almost as stated.
Needed both rear window defroster tabs put back in place. First used PermaTex. Even after following directions to knead, it was runny and had to be taped into place for 24 hrs to set. It did set up, seems to be holding fine. Not being pleased with the Permatex product, decided to try LocTite which I had to order. Again followed directions, kneading it until correct consistency. Much thicker and applied well. But again it did not adhere within 5 mins as stated on pkg. So it was also taped for 24 hours. It set up a bit faster. Both tabs appear to be staying in place, haven't had to use defroster as yet. Either product will re-set defroster tabs but take your time, expect to tape them into place for at least 24 hours. It will save an expensive trip to mechanic.

Difficult
Very difficult to use, does not dry fast enough!

Activator application
Poor adhesion, never held. Activator in the tube/cardboard applicator did not come out to tip. The paper/cardbiard absorbed the liquid to the sides making direct application to the glass virtually impossible. The glue never dried after 24 hours + due to the weak trace of applicator that made it to the tab and glass.
