Item was as pictured. I purchased it to replace an ugly sugar container for coffee on our countertop. The exterior is smooth and has a light coat of matte semi gloss finish to protect it. The inside is smooth sanded but not finished so I cut a plastic container to line it for easier cleaning. The lid opens easily by swinging outward and the magnet holds the lid in place when closed but it’s not too difficult to swing back open. It’s really pretty and can be used with different styles. I hand washEd this with soap and water then allowed it to air dry completely before use.

I love this extra large size, easy to get my fingers or a spoon in.It’s also very attractive on my counter.

Nicely built. The magnets are nice to keep the top lid closed. Lid rotates left or right for access to spices. Finish is good, sort of a satin finish. This container is larger than ones I have seen meant for a salt and pepper blend which is a good thing for those folks with large hands or need complete access to the spices. Worth its money so the value is there.

The lid is on magnets and slides away to open, they are very small and doesn't hold the lid closed well.

I’m new to sea salt, so I didn’t really know what I was looking for. Turns out I picked the perfect solution. I now see it or one similar on all my Keto recipe YouTubes. This one is great. I wish it came with a spoon, but I found a cute one in a shop.

Perfect size for wanting to use as a powder dispenser. Wanted something taller to accommodate the puff handle.The interior has an odd odor about it though. I tried wiping it down with peroxide and the cloth turned brown. Is it from some sort of stain? If this is to be used for a food item, I think I would have sent it back for that reason. Will let it set a few days to see if the odor dissipates. Want to use as a powder box, but might be hesitant due to the smell and color transferring. Will it go to the powder? This is not made of Bamboo which I feel would be better, but it is a very nice looking wood piece.++UPDATE++ Sorry this has to go back due to the smell. Hence I dropped to one star.

Attractive, well-crafted, multi use wooden box. Clever construction of the rotating lid, used to store many different items! I ordered this to support my wife’s heavy salt habit but she wants one to store cotton balls for her makeup. Good thing Christmas is right around the corner!
