Great set for quick repairs or projects. Everything needed is in kit to do a small job, recommend the tool for bigger jobs and when using the anvil and punch make sure you are on a solid surface.

Good looking kit with weak snaps
These are relatively thin snap tops. Used about half the kit so far and have had issues with failures almost immediately. Snap rings separate quite easily from their caps. Would be suitable for low-pressure applications but these are not the answer for a towable boat cover.

Great deal.
Used on my boat canvas (salt water) this season and held up well. Would recommend buying the tool that allows you to “squeeze” snaps like pliers. While using a hammer works well in the off season (when canvas is off boat) it’s not practical for repairing snaps while on boat.

Good choice for boat canvas
Used to replace some stretched snaps on my Cobalt boat cover. I used with the harden snap pliers. There’s a little technique required to adjust the pliers based on the thickness of the canvas and backing but after a couple of wasted snap sockets, I was able to dial it in and the snaps are working liking new.
