So easy
I tried a haaka with my first child and even if I could get the suction right, the moment I moved (let alone the moment she moved) it lost suction. I could never get more than a half ounce. It took a few tries to master but I'm able to attach the Curve with one hand - it helps that I can suction it on and then adjust my nursing bra. This is perfect for midnight nursings for me - the baby usually only takes one side per session and I can get almost a full pumping amount on the left over side if I use the Curve. I'm not a fan of pumping both sides at the same time, I find it really uncomfortable. Again I can stick this on the side I'm not pumping and get almost a full pump sessions worth. If I really want to drain that side, I'll just pump for five minutes at the end of the session. Granted I've maxed out at about 4.5 ounces a side. So if you regularly pump more than that it might not have the capacity you need. The little valve can be challenging when you pour out the milk - until you get the hang of it. Cleaning is pretty easy if you have a bottle brush.

Elvie Curve VS Haakaa Ladybug
This product worked very well for me. I’m larger chested and I found it fit into my bra easily and maintained suction well and did a great job easing pressure inbetween pumps. I put off buying this for a while because I had the haakaa ladybugs which are a similar product and about half the price. I didn’t see the point in spending more money to buy a product similar to one I already had. However, I’m going back to work at a busy job where I work 12+ hour shifts and needed a better option to help ease pressure inbetween pumping if I can’t pump as often as I normally would and in my desperation I decided to splurge and give this one a shot to see if it might give me a better option than the ladybugs. So far, there are definitely some key differences. Pros: I feel the curve overall works better than the lady bugs for helping drain and keep off pressure inbetween feeds/pumps and will allow me to go longer than the ladybugs before having to do a full pump/feed. I feel like this has a stronger, more consistent suction than the ladybugs. Another pro is it fits better in my bra, and is easy for me to adjust the suction without having to take off my shirt and actually see the product. Cons: it’s more expensive and harder to clean and collect milk from. To combat the milk collection problem I just place the container I’m pouring into in a bowl so if there’s any spillage I can still collect it, but I’ve gotten better with practice at not spilling. Overall, I do think this is the better product for helping ease pressure and collecting milk inbetween feeds/pumping, especially if you are in a place where you may have to extend the time inbetween pumping seasons, but it is quite a bit more expensive and the ladybugs may not help as much, but can help in a pinch if this model is too pricey, however, would recommend the splurge on this one if you can. It was definitely worth it to me!

Stop
This products stop working after 2 months of use. I use it once, or twice a day for the past two months and the suction stopped working. O contacted Elvie and they told me this is not their product and i don’t quality for a replacement since they can’t guarantee this is a “re-sold” item. Don’t waste your money.

Love it but don't order too early
Let me begin with I LOVE the functionality of elvie products. I've got the stride and the curve and like I said, I love the freedom they give me. BUT, and it's a big one, I've now had both of these malfunction in one way or another. For the curve, it's the silicone catch that has split at the top of the release nob. Murphy's law dictates that the split occurred two days after the warranty expired. Go figure. This happened after 7 weeks of use and cleaning exactly as the company recommends. It is still mostly useable but the suction power is no longer reliable or as strong. I would still recommend the product based on function and versatility. However, don't be too proactive and order it early! I was a bit zealous in my organizing with it being my first child and it has absolutely backfired for both elvie products. Customer services hasn't been a nightmare to deal with but not willing to fix the issue completely.

Very discreet!!!
The Elvie Curve Manual Wearable Pump has been such a lifesaver for me! It’s lightweight, comfortable, and fits right into my bra, so I can collect milk hands-free while nursing or going about my day. I love that it uses natural suction—no cords, no batteries, and no loud motor—which makes it super convenient for quick letdown collection or relieving engorgement. The silicone feels soft and gentle, and it’s really easy to take apart and clean (a must when you’re already washing a million baby items). It also holds a good amount of milk for its size, and the discreet design makes it easy to wear without feeling bulky. It’s not meant to replace an electric pump, but as a backup or for catching extra milk, it’s amazing. I recommend it to any breastfeeding mom who wants to save every drop without extra hassle.

Works great, wish it had a little more suction

These have been so game changing I have 4 of them I use in rotation so I always have two on hand if sterilising the others. LIKES - When I use this on one boob while breastfeeding on the other, I collect approx 60ml - 80ml at a time and put in a bottle for my husband to use (while I gratefully eat dinner with two hands!) - Can use this while breastfeeding in cradle hold and baby can’t kick it off (unlike the udder type pumps) - I can pump discreetly (ish) while in public and don’t need a special bra (although it does make my boobs look enormous!) - You can see how much milk is approximately collected by looking down through the clear bit at the top (meaning you don’t need to take it off or look in the mirror to see) - You can easily adjust the suction by pressing the valve at the top - I have sometimes fallen asleep with these one and no precious milk spilled out (thank goodness!) - Easy to clean and sterilise DISLIKES - It’s near impossible to read the measurements on the back of them because the writing is basically transparent. It’s such a useful feature to have but completely futile on this as you can’t read it in the daylight, let alone while sleep deprived at night. My midwife recommended these to me and I use them daily. In terms of value for money, I thought they were expensive initially as it was £19.99 for ONE (so < £40 for two) - they do not come as a pair. However, for the amount of precious milk I get, I see it as a great return on investment as it means I can pump anywhere and someone else can bottle feed my baby while I rest or catchup on housework.

I got 4 Haakaa, and 4 ladybugs but this one beats them all. So convenient, suction is good. Can basically wear it everywhere. Super recommend.
