It's nice working like expected. Can turn on and off. With wipro app. Without even wifi. Can control via bluetooth also. Voltage readings are giving almost accurate and wattage and energy consumption sometimes stays at zero. Probably wifi not connected anyway. Good product. I'm using their E27, B22 models Led bulbs too. Can hear a clickable noise from tha adapter if we turn and off. Look like a relay control mechanism. It will become red if we turn on and while powering up blue light blinks. Sturdy strong plug top pins and designs. I like it. It's a bit bulky than a normal adaptor extension. But feels like a premium product with maximum performance. There's a power on button at the top, same even for first time pairing with your android device. Especially this one I purchased is 16A. Can easily install for my geyser, refrigerator, iron box even 2 hp motor pump.

This is as good/bad as most smart plugs out there- infact it is the same as the most smart plugs as they are all manufactured by Tuya (a Chinese company) which are then branded by different companies. I went for Wipro as they are a reputed brand and though the product is the same as other brands, I'm hoping they will be better to deal with for warranty support if needed. So here are my thoughts: 1. Being a generic product, you can use the branded Wipro app or the Smartlife app to control. If you have different branded smart plugs then better to use smartlife to integrate them all in one app. 2. Wifi could be a bit finicky - it connected easily with my jiofi and jiofiber router but refused to connect to my tplink router for setting up. Not sure why. I ended up setting up the product with my jiofi and then changed the tplink SSID to match jiofi SSID and then it works. 3. It returns to previous state after a power failure- this is both good and bad depending on your needs. There is no control in the apps (wipro and smartlife) to select if you want to default it to previous state or default to off. I wanted to use it for my water pump and so I want it to default it to off but it won't. Imagine if it was on and there is power cut for 4 hours - the pump will be back on after power resumes so you'll have to keep an eye if it's online or offline all the time- not good if you wanted to control this remotely. If it's controlling your geyser or AC then no big deal. 4. Reliability- this is the main issue if you want to use it remotely. I tested the schedule and countdown timer features. If there is wifi failure then the schedules or timers that are already set will keep working. Different story in case of power failure- I tested the countdown timer by switching it on, turning on the timer for it to switch off and then cut the power after some time. When the power cut was for a smaller duration than the timer, it switched off per the timer, but when the power cut was longer than the timer duration then it would not switch off. There goes my plans to control my pump remotely. Bottom Line: These things are still evolving and most of the above issues are software related. There needs to be an option to select the power state after power failure and wifi should be more robust. You don't want this to get offline after switching on a device. For the time being, I think it is good for tinkering but certainly not reliable enough for critical applications. I think the Amazon smart plug has better controls but they only make the 10A version.

Very good product from Wipro writing a review after using 2 years. Has very useful features like you can remotely turn on /off the appliance like AC washing machine Microwave or programmeable option is also available to set the timing for switch on and off routinely. Most helpful is the current (watt) tracking. Its accurate. But wifi connectivity is little weak of the router is little far like 2 rooms away it's not responding properly if if wifi range is good then it works smoothly.

Pros Robust design. Smooth operation. App is good. Very good options like countdown timer and schedule Cons Does not turn on automatically when power is on. Unfit for gyser because everytime u turn on gyser switch you need to turn the device manually. You cannot keep power connected to the adapter for the whole day. Tried using for dryer. But it it does not have memory, it does not start again when power goes off and comes back. Overall too much manual intervention although using mobile app. Main purpose is not achieved becuase (a) does not remember last setting during power off case (2) by default keeps the gyser or whichever load off so everytime u need to turn it on using mobile app. Without mobile no one can use the load. Too much dependency on mobile

I used this plug for my ac, normally I used to get more sweat the timer mode is very helpfull for me, i have timed the ac on so I won't get sweat during sleep which won't disturb my sleep. It's very usefull to save power and value for money. App connectivity and quality is good.

It’s a nice product but malfunctioned after 11 months of use. If its life is only 11 months then please buy it with caution. The appliance automatically get switch on.. even I have reset the device.. very dangerous now, if you are away from the house

Please check your plug socket fit before connecting high-load appliances.
