This works so well, and cuts down on tools needed to refurbish or but in new micro or regular drip systems.

The media could not be loaded.  I try to use tools as much as I can to make diy jobs easier for my hands and decided to get this product. I’m so glad I did because it works as described. I had to do several irrigation projects in my garden and this tool came in handy. If you’re thinking about it I say go ahead and purchase it. It’s worth it.

It is an amazing tool very easy to use I only have one hand but the fact that it won’t do flag drippers there’s a reason why it only gets four stars

This tool works very well for most of the drip line fittings that I have been using for my irrigation system. So far I've found that it works quite well with tees, couplers, emitters, and fairly well with plugs, It even works OK on an Orbit 8 port manifold as well.The one ability it currently lacks though is a way to fit tubing to a coupling that has tubing already connected to one end of it. I found a solution by using a 1/4" washer with a groove cut into it that will set into the emitter holding option of the tool to hold the coupler shoulder and so allow fitting tubing to the second end of that fitting.

Just the correct tool for the job. This tool is great. It makes inserting connectors for 1/4/" irrigation lines a snap. Removing the block on the nonmoving side allows inserting the line on a connector that already has a connector installed on one side. To make some jobs easy, notch a flat washer to fit over the line of the installed connector. This will allow the connector to press against the washer and allow the tool to press the line on the other end. Overall, this tool saves the fingers and the problem of heating the line to install fittings by hand. Only caution is to line up the fitting with the 1/4" line so it is inserted straight. Otherwise, the fitting nozzle may break.

If you’ve got young and strong hands you won’t need this, but if arthritis or age has messed with your grip, this makes a difficult job effortless.

I bought this because it seemed better than another brand that I looked at and I was having difficulty inserting fittings into tubing even with heating the tubing. It's better than nothing but it's really hard to use. Aligning a T fitting with the tubing is a real challenge no matter how I set up the pusher head or how I align the tubing with what they refer to as "catchers". I haven't tried drippers yet, but the ones I have don't fit into the recess in the head that seems to be made for drippers. This tool may work with their own fittings but not well at all with the ones I have that are made by Dig.Additionally, there is only video for instructions. The package insert doesn't include any but points you to their web site. Then you're on your own to select the correct video which is totally inadequate and only glosses over a couple of arrangements. There are no step-by-step text and picture instructions.The product listing says "It arrives in a sealed package with an instruction card, ready for gifting." which is true up until the word "package". There's a card, but as I said, there are no instructions on it. And "ready for gifting" is a stretch for a clear bag meant to hang on a retail pegboard. But I suppose that's just nit picking.

i've only used it for a few minutes, but it seems pretty good. almost certainly superior to the DIG 16-066R Barb Insertion Tool.confused about TG (700010) vs TG-4H (700011)? me too, tbh. and i read the literature and watched the vids. best i can figure, TG-4H is the more capable tool, and luckily that's what i received. only difference on my TG-4H is that the removable piece is orange instead of black like in the pics.it appears to be pretty well made. even though it's plastic, it looks like heavy duty glass-filled nylon (at least the black parts?)i tested it with 1/4" (quarter inch) and 1/8" (eighth inch) poly tubing on the 7mm and 5mm settings, respectively, and it worked on both.

Can't believe how easy it is to use. Makes a huge difference to the amount of time and effort required to do the job.
