SharkBite 3/8 (1/2 inch OD) x 1/2 Inch FNPT Reducing Adapter, Push to Connect Brass Plumbing Fitting, PEX Pipe, Copper, CPVC, PE-RT, HDPE, U070LFA

I went from 3/4” copper to 3/4” PEX using a SharkBite coupling and then used this SharkBite adapter to connect the PEX to my water softener. This allowed me to have a little flexibility with my final reach between the copper pipe and water softener and I can also give the final connection a twist if it’s not tight enough.

Amazing product soiled seal no leaking. simple quick attachment. Pay attention to how to prepare a metal pipe before connecting. I love this product.

Bought several pieces at once, and if it wasn't for the cost, would have been a perfect 5.

These fittings can be a little spendy, But they work perfectly, are easy to install and can easily be reused with the removal tool.

They are so easy to use and you can actually use a tool to take them off if needed.

Shark bites are the best. I did a UV disinfectin system install with these. Worked like a charm. Super simple. No issues two years later.

Received the product damaged, I doubt it was damaged during shipping since the package it was in had been opened already and there appeared to be some surface damage like a tool had been used on it, so my guess is it was a return. I was in a bind so I used it anyway and it doesn't leak a drop so great product, distributor maybe not so great.

Time saver...made a difficult job easy...I have used many Sharkbite fittings and have never had a problem. The most important thing is to completely deburr the pipe internally and externally.

Great product to begin with. Used it to connect hose to pig waterer and the connection was strong. However after a month the connector became weak and would not hold with much pressure.
